I never made it to year 3 destiny but honestly I think d2 isn't as bad as most ppl are making it out to be. Sure the pvp isn't as fun as before but I think the pve shows a lot of improvements, excluding the easy difficulty. There's plenty more to do in the worlds available when compared to d1
You want to talk about a game that's fundamentally broken at the core look back at d1. It had a completely terrible story at launch that not even another 35 dollars of dlc could fix. The pve environments were barebones with absolutely no reason to visit them apart from collecting mats. The entire game was a grindfest where you did the same poorly designed missions over and over again in the hopes for a semi-decent weapon and all interesting lore was located outside of tmr game.
Also, Luke Smith has been a jack*** from day 1. Anyone surprised by his behavior needs to pay better attention. I mean, the guy told ppl they should be throwing their money at the screen in early y1 d1. How that guy made it to his current position is beyond me.
