Part of it is Activisions fault which no one is bringing up and I feel it is needed. U see we all love to jump down bungies throat and not saying some of it isnt deserved. Ruining my firefly perk. But Activision is putting time restraints on Bunige due to their contract and forcing them to come out with more content without the appropriate amount of time needed. The game is designed to be a game u can pick up and play everyday which is kinda the issue here cause we as fans demand new stuff the minute we run out of stuff to do. While yes a lot of blame can go to bungie some needs to go to activision as well

Read further down in the comments. Several people are aware, as well as myself. However, we as players can’t do anything about the contract. The best thing the player base can do is boycott the franchise to force Activision’s hand into giving Bungie more development time to save the franchise.

Boycotting won’t work. As I understand it the contract stipulates that if Bungie fall short of the pre-defined terms (terms that Bungie willingly signed up to) then the company falls into forfeit and gets swallowed up by Acti-Blizzard. It’s already half way in the lions mouth at the moment. So all a boycott would achieve is Bungie ceasing to exist as an “independent” developer and becoming a corporate subsidiary. I say “independent” like this because they have already sold themselves so far up shitcreek Captain Jack Sparrow couldn’t navigate them back. That and paddles were 40,000 silver from Eververse. In other words, they done fkd up and it’s only a matter of time before they sink without a trace.

I knew that contract was bad - everyone did - and Bungie still signed it. But what are players to do? Buy crappy, rushed titles to keep a company afloat that lies to its players and has a literal Asshat making design decisions? Bungie’s definitely -blam!-ed - I refuse to pay a dime unless there’s a “beta” detailing every damn pixel of the release so I know EXACTLY what I’m paying for.
