Been playing destiny since day one and stuck with it during all its ups and down. I seen a really great idea that I knew could become a really great game and honestly I believed it did. Then they dropped the bomb and said were making a new game and starting over and you won't be keeping a damn thing. I was out I didn't want to play destiny ever again and why should i I'd put so much time into a game only to be told it was pointless. All my friends said I was crazy and I'd come back around and I'd play destiny 2 and like a fool I did. I forgot all about how they made a fool out of me. Fast forward I've spent over a hundred hours more than any of my friends playing d2. I've Completed the story on all 3 classes, got to 305, and beat the raid with my clan. Just to list a few things but all along it's felt different like something's missing or just not right. The exotics are lifeless shadows of something people once had to have. The raid gear is as meaningless as killing the boss at the end off it. Getting to 305 became the equivalent of pulling a lever on a slot machine and hopefully getting the last piece of gear I needed. Yes I'm bored and have nothing of any real value left to do. That's when It happened the thing I'd been waiting for the iron banner. The bounties, the epic iron gear, the fact that my time pushing my light level up was going to be rewarded with being stronger than my opponent. I could not wait to play. Boy how could I have not seen it coming this was not the iron banner but a ghost of what the iron banner once was. So after over 20 hours, 35 packages, from 700 tokens. All I had to show for all my time grinding it out in the iron banner was a helmet,a mark, and a few guns not worth the shards I was given for dismantling them. That was it the straw that broke the camels back. Ive tried to get over it I've tried to play and have fun. My friends have told me "don't worry I bet they have a awesome event around the corner" but I really don't care. The last bit of fun and hope for destiny has been lost to me. I just want to know if any one else feels this way.
