Bungie, you REALLY need to start the communication train about your plans for this game!

It's getting out of hand Bungie, everyone I play with thinks you've either given up on this game or you're just straight up incapable of developing it properly. From content not even worth completing more than once to re-skins to handfuls of features that were in D1 just straight up missing from this apparant sequel, from shallow subclass trees to having zero purpose to actually getting loot, other than for infusing into the weapon or armour piece you already have, to nothing new added or innovated on. My 10th better devils was exactly the same as my 1st (I thought you were doing something about that? I mean that IS what you said in an interview 3 months before the game actually released) From awful, straight up garbage match making in PVP, to the lack of choices a player has when playing Crucible. The STILL bad connection issues (yes I have great wired internet) and being shot through walls or shots not registering at all, to hit registration being as dumb as Forest Gump. WHAT ARE YOU DOING BUNGIE? WHERE ARE YOU? And what are you doing about the game that SO many people love the universe of? It's time to speak up! EDIT: Anyone notice how Cozmo doesn't comment on threads like this, but replies to Mass shader dismantling or how many Cabal drop pod deaths you've had threads? EDIT: So I just woke up and read the weekly update, I think it’s safe to say I’m not logging into Destiny anymore. I can’t justify spending my time on something that’s just not rewarding anymore. I hope many of you follow suit. What’s that phrase? ‘Don’t hate the player..........’ EDIT: There's an interview released today from the BBC from a tour at the Bungie studios, here's a quote from it. "Absolutely we took criticisms of the original Destiny to heart," Jason Jones, co-founder of Bungie, tells Newsbeat. "We knew it had amazing parts... but we also saw the real mistakes we made." In a rare interview inside their Seattle offices, in the USA, he says the experience shaped how they tackled Destiny 2. "It was stuff we already knew but it was a sharp and clear message from our community - they expected better." And here's the full article if anyone wants to read it http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/article/41667810/behind-the-scenes-at-bungie-making-destiny-2-and-beyond EDIT: So grinding for Bright ENDgames, I mean Engrams is the new end game??? I’m a little lost for words, with increased XP boost on our 1st 3 bright Engrams is anyone actually gonna play the same old content after that? Finding it hard to see the future o Destiny as a positive thing honestly!

 • I agree with you 100%, but they aren't going to address this stuff. Honestly though, what can they do to fix it? With the double primary system, slow ability recharge, and the emphasis on balance and simplification, this game cannot provide the same experience as Destiny 1. This game, at its core, is meeting the design goals that Bungie/Activision were aiming for. They just aren't fun. Sure, there were cutscenes and a linear story. It was just cliched and boring. Honestly, who didn't know exactly how the story arc would go before playing it? What happened in the story that put you on the edge of your seat? I'm going to guess absolutely nothing. Not to mention the greed of locking sparrows and ships behind bright engrams. Then there's the single use shader debacle. Reskins everywhere. I don't understand how they thought the D1 players would not only be okay with these changes, but that they would be excited about them. It truly blows my mind. I would honestly be shocked, given the bones of this game, if the future of Destiny weren't far more PVP focused. It doesn't seem like the core of the game lends itself to fun/interesting PVE content. There is never a feeling of being powerful and there is no sense of accomplishment. It's just blah. D1 honestly feels like a successor to D2. Here's hoping that they announce something meaningful in 15 minutes, but this "Season 2" announcement will probably be superficial and self congratulatory. It will be a celebration of D2 as a wild success, which we all know is not the case. They need to sell those PC copies.
