Imagine a alternate universe where the Hive and vex are on a full scale war spanning multiple solar systems and planets. Who do you think would win this war is atheon and his time bending robots enough to stop Oryx and his league of bloodthirsty hive? let me know in the comments.

Well, the Vex already did fight the Hive. Crota accidentally ripped open a portal, then the Vex flooded in and waged war (then learned of the Sword-logic, leading them to worship). Oryx eventually sealed the portal, but not before throwing Crota into a Vex gate.
-
Against Crota? Well... the Vex would win. Seriously, they put him into the ground with the mere name of the ritual they used to summon Quria, the Ritual-of-Better-Thoughts. Crota's a dumbass. Oryx? The Vex would lose. Oryx is too complex to simulate and he can just take them all. Savathun post-Red War? Bitch leave my precious cybernetic organisms alone they don't deserve this. Any other Hive? Probably Vex.
-
I don't know, but it would be fun, to see.
-
Just have the Cursed Thralls fight the Fanatics. That'll solve itself out.
-
Neither group is "universe spanning". Do you know how big the universe is? Trillions of galaxies, each with billions of star-systems. The Hive and Vex probably span a couple of galaxies insofar as relevant activity goes at MOST. .....That said, a war between Hive and Vex already happened, and the Hive won. But with Oryx dead, a second war MIGHT go differently. Or it might not.
-
If atheon was still alive (which he probably is) vex would win, go back in time and wipe the hive
-
This has already happened somewhat. The short version is the Vex lost but it's a bit more complicated than that.
-
The vex are extremely careful with time travel. They almost certainly wouldn't use it to defeat the hive. They turn whole planets into data processors, trying to predict every single outcome of what would happen if they went back in time, just to seed a planet. Then, they don't even activate the transformation until close to the original instance they went back in time to seed the planet. All to reduce variations in the time line. They are the most careful time travelers in the history of time travelers.
-
The vex already won. The vex are winning. The vex will win.
-
They already had a battle and the hive beat them. But idk about a war
-
Idk logetrejt420xD
-
The Vex hands down. The reason the Hive created the Annihilation totems was because of the accidental war Crota started with the Vex. The thing is as long as there is 1 Vex cell the Vex have a chance. If anything touches a Vex it has the potential to turn into a Vex Construct (Example being Ashir Mir and his Ghost). It's why Taking the Vex is suicidal, assuming there is a Vex cell or two that end up surviving the Taking process that Taken may end up turning into a Vex Construct.
-
If your going off the idea that Oryx is still alive then I'd have to say hive becuase no matter how strong the vex could become Oryx could take them like he was doing in D1
-
Hive, because they will just keep resurrecting themselves.
-
With Taken-powers.....Hive. No Taken powers.....Vex.
-
Hive do to the lore
-
The Vex because they can time travel
-
Vex..
-
I'm still not sure how theHive ever evolved beyond sticks & stones.
-
I don’t think that the hive and the vex would fight each other because they both share the same goal and they are both agents of the darkness. It would be like the Iron Lords fighting the Sunbreakers. They are on the same side it just wouldn’t happen
-
It’s really up in the air the hive are very difficult for the vex to simulate and they can’t write them out of existence but the vex have limitless units
-
Vex, because they can travel through time
-
Pretty sure they are at war, remember Quria? Crota cut a portal into the vex domain and they've been fighting for centuries since
