I'm assuming you guys are looking for a way to not allow the kicking emote to actually move backwards when up against a wall and applying said mechanic to all maps, but why couldn't you just simply ban the emote instead of postponing trials for 2 weeks? You guys obviously know how to lock us out of changing our loadouts according to the mechanic applied to trials and the prestige nightfall. Why couldn't you simply apply that effect to that specific emote at all times for a period of two weeks?
