Hard Mode Raid Differences LIVE UPDATE

Prestige mode is live! I’ll be running it with a team as soon as it goes live on Xbox one. I have roughly 8 completions on normal mode and know how to run every role on every boss in the raid, so I’ll keep my eyes open for anything that’s different! Here I will list all the differences from normal mode to prestige mode for those who are at work/school or otherwise can’t find out themselves right away. Drop an upvote or comment to save this in your list so you can keep an eye on the changes! And if you’re on Xbox one and you’re looking for a good raid team, feel free to add me! - Arrgoat ——————————— PRESTIGE MODE ——————————— Entire Raid Changes
Loadouts - NOT locked! :) Revives - Just like trials. You have a revive token. Once you revive one person, you can’t revive again for that challenge or until you wipe. ALSO, if you DIE you LOSE your revive token and can’t revive anyone. So dying really takes away two revives from the team, because not only do you need to be revived, but you can no longer revive anyone else. Enemies- all enemies are MUCH tougher. Even with a full team of 300+ it’s proven a challenge. Bring high DPS high ammo guns. Raid Access- you can not access hard mode unless you have beaten normal mode.
Listed in this weeks order Courtyard (Opening Doors)
All enemies are BULLET SPONGES. Bring a very good heavy and a roaming super.
Gauntlet
PLATFORMS - Two psions spawn after you shoot arrows. The normal one at the bottom of the arrows, and a floating one that spawns in a random location that needs shot down. Need a different runner each time. Every person must run once! During the last phase of running there are 3 orbs per connect-4 Wall, instead of 4.
Dogs (Pleasure Gardens)
8 dogs now! 2 new dogs, one at rock and one at L2.
Baths/Pools
During your DPS phase there are more bathers that spawn. Once your first DPS phase is done you can NOT go back to your original plates. Instead the game randomly assigns 4 people a plate. When DPS is done you will see a symbol on your screen (sun, chalice, dog, axe). You must go to this plate.
Calus (Final Boss)
No more Throne room or Void teams anymore. As soon as a throne room person kills a psion they are teleported into the void and a random person is teleported out of the void. This happens for each phase of symbols, so 3 times each run on the void.
Legend of Acrius
Completing the final step of the quest doesn’t award an upgraded gun. The reward for the final step is simply an ornament for the shotgun that you already have.
I think that’s everything! My thoughts; hard mode is not for your casual gamer. You need all 6 people to be seasoned gamers and seasoned raiders. Everyone needs to know just about every role during every fight since the random rotations force everyone to play every role. But knowing isn’t enough, you need to have good communication and the skills to execute. Just like normal mode, if one person messes up just one thing it sends the team in a downward spiral. This might not be. Raid for LFG, but more so for playing with people you know and play well with so you’re all of equal skill level. My randoms today couldn’t beat it, but me and my friends will at some point. I gotta have that emblem! Good luck to everyone.
