Activision Patents Bad MatchMaking
Just incase you didn't know. this is a huge issue!!
It is a way to make players more likely to buy microtransactions..via bad matchmaking...
like if you care.

10 RepliesI'm not sure this is that big of a deal honestly. I mean, it's shady, but it's not really going to affect most. The whole "this guy has cool stuff, I'm going to go spend money to look/be just like him" shtick will miss on most gamers probably. I'm not saying I like this or that I want this in any of the games I play, just not sure it's as big of a deal as I've seen it made out to be. Feels like it'll have about as much impact as a commercial on TV. The good news is that it's not in D2. The bad news is that there's a good chance it will be added down the road or in D3. So yeah, don't really like it but don't think it's a big deal.
