Going back to d1 worth it?

I quit destiny 1 right as trials of osiris came out due to change in life events. Plus I had 1500 hours played and no gjallarhorn was getting really old. I picked up d2 and got back into it and started missing d1. I’ve already got every exotic in d2 and 3 maxed characters. My question is would it be worth it to go back to destiny 1 and pick up where I left off? Or would it be tough since I’m still stuck at 32?

  • You might have to graft a little harder but definitely worth going back. I didn't particularly enjoy D2 so have popped back to destiny and it's still fun for me, if you missed some bits it should be alright! If you want any help or just some company, feel free to add me! DidSquiddinton.

I went back to D1 a couple of weeks ago and had some fun but it didn't last long because I was already burnt out on it. I'm moving on to other games I missed over the past 2 years. But I will still go back to D1 occasionally because it is still a fun game and some of the best/most fun PvP I've ever played. D2 will be uninstalled when my kids are done playing it. But since they only play on weekends it's lasting a bit longer for them. I figure another week or so and they'll be bored with it. They just want to run the prestige raid first. I'll check back in about 18 months or so when I can pick up a "D2 collection" or something like it. Maybe by then D2 will be nearly complete. But I won't be buying any DLC's this time around. This game has a long way to go before I touch it again. Honestly,I don't think Bungie can fix this one. I think the base game is just too messed up to do much with it. Hope I'm wrong though.

Dude you need to add me on PSN: Always_Scheming i have put together a lot of good players and some new players/ into a pseudo clan/discord/psn community PSN Community: Destiny 1 Legacy the loot is amazing the drop rates are amazing (not too low and not too high and defs never for just participation except for crucible matches) the roles are still random at all vendors and always a good one here and there the armor and ornaments are amazing the getting to 400 is so easy with crucible and archons forge. I along with my group will help you clear every raid per character per week. Exotics are insaneeeee and so many quests and things to do to get them. I got the year three mythoclast and ice breaker on the same day after 2 weeks back and there is still soooooo much more stuff to get. Xur still comes around and shits on the D2 selection each week. So many bounties per week that all drop gear higher than your light level. Light level is not the main grind in D1 its the armor sets, weapons rolls and tier 12 stats

  • You get the horn given to you as part of ROI DLC. Power levelling to 40 and 400 is pretty easy and does not require you to do any end game activities. So yes, go ahead and enjoy a vastly superior version of Destiny, because D2 is pretty boring right now.

    • I’m thinking the same thing but by now everyone has everything but I miss vog and 6v6 I have a friend who asked me if he should buy it and I’m like no it’s a disappointment compared to D1 I want to go back but I don’t really want to start from the beginning I’ll probably play D1 till the expansion comes out
