So last night like many others me and my friends try the prestige raid cool right ? You would think so but No ! After doing this on a higher difficulty we get rewarded with 7,5 or 6 tokens on the first encounter and same for the 2nd encounter, TOKENS !!!! Tokens that only reward you with normal raid drops ! Sure some of us got armor from the 3rd encounter but that’s not the point ! who designs this raid or just not even the raid who’s job is it to think about these things ? This needs a solution ASAP if not what is the point of doing this in prestige ? And I don’t want to hear “well what do you expect all the armor on one run ? “ No ignorant defender of bungies infinite mess ups or bungie rep or Mr Cozmo ! We want a solution ! Let us get “prestige tokens” to save up and try and get prestige gear like the normal raid since bungie is all about this stupid token system now but anyways you guys are really making it hard for ppl to want to play your game ! Fix this !
Upvote to get this noticed please !

Come on! You cant have it all at once otherwise they have nothing to add to their game in a later dlc. Its already blatantly obvious they dont want you having too much by how they stop you collecting too many chests/materials on patrol and stop you having too much stuff from the faction vendors and saladin. If you have everything at once then the game will be over twice as quick. Its a sinking ship now so they have to cling on to something.

Yea this game sucks
-
The Leviathan Raid sucks.
-
5 RepliesSuccessfully completing Challenge mode guarantees a raid drop, when that goes live. IIRC this is the same system that was used for King's Fall when challenges were introduced for that raid.
-
7 RepliesI don't mean to downplay this, it sucks not getting what you want or being disappointed with an experience, but... The exact same thing would happen in Destiny 1 raids except instead of tokens that net you actual gear, you would get shards. And that's it. Just saying. Keep things in perspective people.
-
7 RepliesAfter beating Prestige you can use the tokens from normal and hard to aquire prestige armor from bennidict so who the hell cares. Stop crying over such petty shit and play the game lol i literally got tokens from every drop including calus, but sweeperbot gave me a chest and titan mark, both prestige.
-
2 RepliesHave you read the update carefully? Because they did say that they will release challenge for each encounter for guaranteed loot drop.
-
U seem somewhat surprised. Lol
-
1 ReplyLol call me a dreamer, but I'm still confused on why there aren't like 4 completely different unique armor and weapon sets for each raid. I say each raid because this game should have dropped with more than 1. Lol people getting mad because some people are comparing d2 to d1 yr3, and I think d1 yr3 was still work in progress, and d2 should have added miles of depth on to that, and it did the opposite. I don't think d1 yr3 was a great game by any means, pretty good, but not great, and then to go backwards.

1 ReplyIt should atleast give "Prestige" tokens to get the prestige gear from the vendor.
-
6 RepliesTheir solution is challenge mode. Apparently it will guarantee a drop for each challenge you complete.
-
4 RepliesThe reward system I. This game needs revamped. I don't run a raid to get tokens
-
1 ReplyThis is nothing new. Mouldering shards anyone???
-
But, but, but... You can use the tokens on any of your characters. SMH. The token system should have never been a part of the raid.
-
Hard mode raid is just to add a challenge for hardcore video-games-are-life clans. They made that clear
-
10 Repliesthey only ONLY differences gear wise are a different shader and a different shade on the same armor (i know you know but for everyone else) so there is absolutely no point at all. Not one single reason.

I agree that loot should be bountiful on prestige raid

1 ReplySpent a good chunk of yesterday trying to do the Prestige Raid and what do I have to show for it? Gauntlets and a handful of tokens that will just net me loot that's available in Normal mode. Who honestly thought that I'd be a good idea to hand out Normal Mode tokens in hard mode?? It's not like the game gives you Normal Mode rewards as well as Prestige mode ones if you haven't done NM that week (like every D1 Raid), no. You still get 6 tokens for completing a much harder challenge. The least—the least they could've done was adding special Prestige mode tokens, but not even that?? It's such a shame too. I love all of the Prestige mode changes. They're all difficult to complete, but still fair. If they just increased the drop rate of the golden gear or something and added some missing weapons (Energy Auto and Hand Cannon, Kinetic Scout and Pulse, Sidearms, Grenade Launchers, etc.) this would probably be one of my favorite Raids. But as it stands, this Raid is way too unrewarding for all of the trouble it puts you through.

2 RepliesThe whole prison of elders style raid is retarded, the loot drops (or lack of) are retarded, no different gear is retarded, no raid perks is retarded. See the underlying theme Bungle?...if not you're r..........

I can only imagine Bungie employees sitting in their offices or cubicles and laughing their asses off as they read these forum post. All while singing "We got all their money" HA HA HA HA "Wait tl the DLC drops and we pocket even more money from people thinking this will change" HA HA HA HA HA HA Laughing all the way to the bank. Bungie got my money, they got lot's of money, they'll get more money and eververse transactions they'll still be laughing all the way to the bank while everybody makes a point, bitches about this and that, whines about this or that, brings up valid arguments. It's all irrelevant, as they go laughing to the bank.

3 RepliesThe desire to do the raid was removed when the ability to reach max power was added to other endgame activities. Specifically for D2 it’s pointless because of the new system. Tokens on all other things are ok but in the raid gear should drop at each completion point. Ttk has this setup and it was great. Players could jump in on the part they needed for that one piece. Hard mode make zero sense in the game. Where does it fit in? Taking on the challenge... sure I’m game but thinking about how much time it will take to only get a blue emblem and tokens means no thank u. Completion of the hardest endgame event should be rewarded with mom than just the same level stuff I get from a public event. Please bring back max power, light, level being only obtainable in the raid.

11 RepliesRemember when we got new weapons from hard mode raids? Yep i do.
-
7 RepliesRemember getting fatebringer in hard mode VoG? An exceptional ELEMENTAL hand cannon! Remember getting bane of the dark gods ship from Crota hard mode? Remember kings fall, whilst having no elemental primaries, still had raid perks? Remember I never hung around long enough to do wrath of the machine because bungo kept nerfing everything into the ground? Yeah, get some tokens now b!tch! And some muthatrucking friendship right up your banjo kazooe!

There is not meant to be a beneficial reason to do the prestige raid. The only reason is so the sweatiest pve players can show off how sweaty they are every week. Bungie doesnt want the casuals being left behind, so they are giving no incentive to do prestige raid other than cosmetics.
FYI im not agreeing with bungies stance on this. I have been bored since week 3 and i dont even think i was 300 at that point. I am simply stating that bungie has no plans to address this post or any other complaining about no content for the hardcore players.
1 ReplyI haven`t even played this raid yet. And I never will. I`m not into puzzles.

5 RepliesIt is really embarrassing considering the fact that in Destiny 1 they pretty well perfected the loot drops with the addition of SIVA cache keys. They had raid armor and weapons that would actually help you get through the raid the next time. This whole game is really just embarrassing if you compare it to Destiny 1 and what they had going with it.
