I get it. Bungie is listening but.....
I get that they have heard us and all of our feedback. What im mad about is that they had 3 years of our feedback from destiny 1 and it seemed like they just threw that all away for destiny 2. Simple things like selling us on lost sectors were cool until you find out that they are shown on the map....and don't matter once we are level 20... strikes don't have specific loot, hard mode raid doesn't give us anything. It's turned into a one and done game. They could have prevented all this backlash from the start. That's why everyone is so upset.

Problem is, the people who complained then aren't the same complaining now, nor were the people complaining now showing their support and approval for the features they so desperately want back. Not once did I see a post commending Bungie for RNG guns. In fact, I saw people clamoring for ways to reduce the randomness in various suggested ways. Poor story, excessive grind to reach the cap, lack of interesting missions, PvP imbalance, and many other improvements in D2'S were based off of common criticisms from the game. I swear, these forums are filled with people who [i]never[/i] liked Destiny. "Oh, Destiny lacks content" "TDB was a rip-off" "HoW doesn't have a raid" "TTK forces me to use new weapons" "Rise of Iron is lazy" They listen to feedback, but if you aren't giving positive feedback on the things you love, they're not going to know it's something you'll miss dearly.

3 RepliesBungie went balls deep into your wallet and provided you next to nothing in terms of growth with regards to D2 when compared to D1. You paid full price for D2 when actually all D2 amounts to is an expansion. Future DLC will become available to expand on what little there currently is. That will cost a minimum of $30. The business model at Bungie is to provide a bare bones game at release and to add onto it through paid DLC and micro transactions. As a gamer you should be upset by this. Full games should ship on release and paid DLC should be enhancements and not old things being added back in.

Yep. We've been telling them for years. It's hilarious that they actually have the nerve to ask for our feedback now. How about you look at our feedback for the last three years and do that? Why do we have to tell you again? Oh, and you should have done that in the first place. You shouldn't have made this POS in the first place, because you should have taken everything we said into account. If this is the way they are going to do it, they should just tell us. They should say, "The sequels are going to be for the casuals. The hardcore aren't going to like it. Hardcore players should wait for the first DLC to buy it." Just tell us.

5 RepliesIf Bungie was actually listening then this game would've been a success and the forums wouldn't be making posts like this. Bungie has a vision for this game that, while some people really enjoy it, isn't the same vision a lot of the fans have. If this game came out as a Destiny clone from another company it would've been fine. If it came out as a DLC to D1 it would've been fine. But as a sequel to the original it falls completely flat. Idk where they're taking this game, but it definitely isn't for me.

If they listened we wouldn't have a stupid token system for everything. We wouldn't have stupid timed nightfall strikes and we definately wouldn't have a stupid easy raid with only one boss cp.

The one thing that always got talked about was the long time between dlcs on d1. People got bored waiting for new content. Bungie respond by giving us even less to do in d2 lol. Dont even think we are getting a mini festival for haloween

Imo it's always been a big issue with the light system. One of many reasons I've never been much of a fan of the light system. It breeds this need amongst players to quickly speed level.

15 RepliesEdited by Sluggerage: 10/19/2017 2:43:44 PMThe thing is that most people that are saying they want Destiny 1 back actually only really want Destiny 1 back in the state it was in 3 years after launch. Bungie stated multiple times, in the last few months before launch of destiny 2, that it would be a complete reset. With new guns, new weapon system, reworked and new subclasses and a new story. Yes they changed some things between beta and launch but for the most part people knew what they were getting into. No matter what Bungie does, most people that are complaining now will never be happy. With all that said I agree on one thing, whoever thought it was a good idea to not let us choose game modes in crucible has issues.
