It's the high latency sbmm which has really turned me off. Matches where your shots don't count. People run straight through Rockets. People warp across the screen. Game played great when the game first launched. Now that the skill-based bulshit is in effect people are being brought from way too far apart and the games are multiple frames apart depending on who screen you're looking at. Completely unfair
On top of that if you join solo you're pretty much always going to face stacked teams. Making the host Advantage all that much more critical

Yeah it's sad. Some games I feel like my primary is so powerful and others I can shoot an entire clip and not kill someone. The lower TTK of D1 made it possible to hang in laggy SBMM games, but now the host advantage is too much to overcome.

Edited by mfx-one: 10/19/2017 7:15:25 AMIt's the thing that has finally forced me out of Destiny after hundreds of hours in PVP. The latency and the feeling that my opponents and I are not synced up. Connection related issues are much less bearable in D2 thanks to the agonizingly slow ttk. I'm tired of a coin flip dictating if my shots will register or not. I played IB out of curiosity for the weapons and gear, but I don't see myself putting in more than a couple hours per week from here on out. I'm simply indifferent at this point.
