It's getting out of hand Bungie, everyone I play with thinks you've either given up on this game or you're just straight up incapable of developing it properly.
From content not even worth completing more than once to re-skins to handfuls of features that were in D1 just straight up missing from this apparant sequel, from shallow subclass trees to having zero purpose to actually getting loot, other than for infusing into the weapon or armour piece you already have, to nothing new added or innovated on.
My 10th better devils was exactly the same as my 1st (I thought you were doing something about that? I mean that IS what you said in an interview 3 months before the game actually released)
From awful, straight up garbage match making in PVP, to the lack of choices a player has when playing Crucible. The STILL bad connection issues (yes I have great wired internet) and being shot through walls or shots not registering at all, to hit registration being as dumb as Forest Gump.
WHAT ARE YOU DOING BUNGIE? WHERE ARE YOU? And what are you doing about the game that SO many people love the universe of?
It's time to speak up!
EDIT: Anyone notice how Cozmo doesn't comment on threads like this, but replies to Mass shader dismantling or how many Cabal drop pod deaths you've had threads?
EDIT: So I just woke up and read the weekly update, I think it’s safe to say I’m not logging into Destiny anymore. I can’t justify spending my time on something that’s just not rewarding anymore. I hope many of you follow suit. What’s that phrase? ‘Don’t hate the player..........’
EDIT: There's an interview released today from the BBC from a tour at the Bungie studios, here's a quote from it.
"Absolutely we took criticisms of the original Destiny to heart," Jason Jones, co-founder of Bungie, tells Newsbeat.
"We knew it had amazing parts... but we also saw the real mistakes we made."
In a rare interview inside their Seattle offices, in the USA, he says the experience shaped how they tackled Destiny 2.
"It was stuff we already knew but it was a sharp and clear message from our community - they expected better."
And here's the full article if anyone wants to read it http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/article/41667810/behind-the-scenes-at-bungie-making-destiny-2-and-beyond
EDIT: So grinding for Bright ENDgames, I mean Engrams is the new end game??? I’m a little lost for words, with increased XP boost on our 1st 3 bright Engrams is anyone actually gonna play the same old content after that? Finding it hard to see the future o Destiny as a positive thing honestly!

Edited by name: 10/18/2017 2:05:27 PMDestiny 2 roadmap: - More mictrotransaction gamble loot boxes - More item recolor/reskins - More content droughts - More boring and/or frustrating activities - More tokens - More nerfs did I forget anything?
-
Played same players over and over in pvp already player pool seems small
-
They cant. It's really that simple: they cant speak up. They are contractually prohibited from speaking to anyone publicly without first getting Activision's blessing. It's literally IN the contract documents. Ergo, they'll never talk to you, or me, or anyone on these forums. They'll only talk in pre-scripted interviews, press releases and blog posts that can be run by the Activision brass before going public. Get used to the silence: it's here to stay until 2024, unless Activision cancels the contract early.
-
Wait until the PC release... Hopefully, they speak up.
-
Man, you must be frustrated. Probably not playing 15 hours a day like you were a few weeks ago right? Shoot, if I'm you I'm not playing at all anymore. In fact, i doubt I'll ever come back if I'm you. Just gonna move on to a better game. Plenty more right? No? Gonna just vent every day on the forums instead? Hell Yeah! That'll show "em!
-
Idea- in This Week At Bungie, they actually talk about what they did this week at bungie
-
You won't see any changes for 6 to 8 months. That's the way Bungie works. Hopefully they don't go and nerf weapon parts again.
-
Edited by ULiano_III: 10/19/2017 12:01:24 AM“My 10th Better Devils” The solution they will come out with is this : “Everyone we have changed the way Infusion works, no longer can you infuse any Auto rifle to auto rifle. You now must have the exact same weapon (duplicate) to infuse up” Just wait.

They been saying "we are listening we will let you know" for 3 years truth is they just going to say "dlc soon give us money yes?" (Varix voice for no reason)

With Destiny 2, im more involved in the social media side of it than i was with Destiny 1. Ive played a bunch of games on PS4/PC and I always look at the latest news on the games I play (there social pages reddit, twitter etc) I got to say, Bungie is the worst ive seen for games i play for giving information to there players.
-
Theyre too busy chasing luke smith with pitchforks
-
Anyone play eso on PS4 na? If so hit me up
-
You know what game is coming up in which its franchise hasn’t let down its community? Monster Hunter World. The community there is all positive and welcoming to help players out. Sure to be an enjoyable game, since I’ve played most of their old games.
-
This is one of bungies biggest problems to be honest they just keep everything a secret so they can build a lot of hype.
-
Downloaded Warframe yesterday........never touching this trash again.
-
Overwatch does a good job keeping people updated, I don't care for that game but I always see videos on YouTube with some dude talking about the future plans of the game. I respect the hell out of that.
-
They had that first month plan. Now they literally havent said anything. Fcking pathetic knew they wouldnt change. Theyll keep their mouths shut until they have dlc info to stretch out over 4 weeks, then back to radio silence until dlc 2.
-
Maybe it'll be a communication train, about the train wreck that's D2 endgame.
-
They do every Thursday - yes they don't say much - they string you along- but it's more than we got in destiny 1 - have fun enjoy - DLC will probably be out December/ January

Which they could stand to say here on their website so people aren't confused. Along with forum threads that are stickyed so people do not miss information. Not going to cover everyone but it's more effort which is the point. They rely too much on twitter.
-
You people take video games way to seriously.
-
They won't Bc they know nobody would buy the shit they sell if they communicate
-
Game has barely been out a month, calm at least one tit please.

I do agree. What i would want is some sort of Community vote system. Example. Bungie brought an issue with no perfect solution (most of them) down to 2 choices. Then on Twitter, TW@B, Facebook, Youtube, Reddit, as many social media services as they can, they ask the player-base to vote on which one should be implemented. Then they implement the one that wins.
