It's getting out of hand Bungie, everyone I play with thinks you've either given up on this game or you're just straight up incapable of developing it properly.
From content not even worth completing more than once to re-skins to handfuls of features that were in D1 just straight up missing from this apparant sequel, from shallow subclass trees to having zero purpose to actually getting loot, other than for infusing into the weapon or armour piece you already have, to nothing new added or innovated on.
My 10th better devils was exactly the same as my 1st (I thought you were doing something about that? I mean that IS what you said in an interview 3 months before the game actually released)
From awful, straight up garbage match making in PVP, to the lack of choices a player has when playing Crucible. The STILL bad connection issues (yes I have great wired internet) and being shot through walls or shots not registering at all, to hit registration being as dumb as Forest Gump.
WHAT ARE YOU DOING BUNGIE? WHERE ARE YOU? And what are you doing about the game that SO many people love the universe of?
It's time to speak up!
EDIT: Anyone notice how Cozmo doesn't comment on threads like this, but replies to Mass shader dismantling or how many Cabal drop pod deaths you've had threads?
EDIT: So I just woke up and read the weekly update, I think it’s safe to say I’m not logging into Destiny anymore. I can’t justify spending my time on something that’s just not rewarding anymore. I hope many of you follow suit. What’s that phrase? ‘Don’t hate the player..........’
EDIT: There's an interview released today from the BBC from a tour at the Bungie studios, here's a quote from it.
"Absolutely we took criticisms of the original Destiny to heart," Jason Jones, co-founder of Bungie, tells Newsbeat.
"We knew it had amazing parts... but we also saw the real mistakes we made."
In a rare interview inside their Seattle offices, in the USA, he says the experience shaped how they tackled Destiny 2.
"It was stuff we already knew but it was a sharp and clear message from our community - they expected better."
And here's the full article if anyone wants to read it http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/article/41667810/behind-the-scenes-at-bungie-making-destiny-2-and-beyond
EDIT: So grinding for Bright ENDgames, I mean Engrams is the new end game??? I’m a little lost for words, with increased XP boost on our 1st 3 bright Engrams is anyone actually gonna play the same old content after that? Finding it hard to see the future o Destiny as a positive thing honestly!

I think that they're going to start communicating after the PC launch. They don't want to talk about all their broken stuff right now, because that could hurt initial PC sales.
-
Agreed with you, but Bungie already spoke, they expect us to keep playing for friendship and shaders thats D2 end game replayable content. So we can see how lost their are.
-
They can't respond because the truth will piss everybody off.
-
I mean in all fairness. You can’t expect them to spend months/year to develop the game and within a month of release have a complete plan to revamp it because some people aren’t happy. That’s a straight up douche move. They have said they’re assessing things and I’m sure working on things. Trust me, I’m sure they want this game to be successful. They aren’t going to tuck tail and run. But it’s more complicated than “back to D1 settings” and just flip a switch. Plus it took 3 years for D1 to be what it was. Time.

Edited by DaCannonnn: 10/19/2017 5:52:52 PMAnother interesting point is: Microtransactions I haven't noticed more content since they've been added. Wasn't that the original excuse given when they were originally announced? That they would help fund other smaller teams to help pump out content on a more regular basis and speed up patches? There's literally been the same amount of events since their addition.
-
Who needs dev communication when you can run the Prestige Raid for Friendship! I don't know about you guys but I am insanely happy that I can get absolutely nothing new out of the hardest current content except to be able to bond more strongly with my firete.......who am I kidding.
-
I think they know the numbers of players is down but don't want to post that for PR reasons and if we hear less people are playing it may encourage us to stop. If we keep voicing our constructive criticism maybe they will use many of the good ideas out there to make a more interesting endgame. Here's to hoping 🕯
-
Maybe they're waiting for feedback from pc players before committing to major changes. The downside to separate release dates.
-
The hype train usually starts 5-6 weeks before the DLC with actual info spoon fed once per week for 3-4 weeks prior. So we should hear the first mumblings of the upcoming DLC in about two weeks. I don't think much else is going to happen until then, even small changes take a long time to get through. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see the first quality of life changes until early next year. Any communication from Bungie is met with great vengeance and furious anger anyways, I wouldn't want to say much if I was them either.
-
One thing I'm curious about is, will the Osiris and Rasputin DLC be the same barebones expansion content like The Dark Below and House of Wolves were? I'm assuming they will be.
-
I really liked the content plan they dropped for the first month. Why didn't they keep doing that?
-
Max-light is 305 right?
-
They have no answers They did the same thing in d1 around no content When they have no content they say nothing no road map nothing Issues like IB drops and tokens they respond like they Do with a cut and paste response Some 1 line sentence that says I will bring it up in the next meeting We are listening See we got hooked on d2 reveals and road maps but even those were thin and far between I guess that should have been the warning flare even for a reveal like d2 it was thin
-
Agree cosmos responses are few and only on positive posts, the community can be toxic at times but at this stage i think most people just want this game to be good we want bungie to acknowledge our requests not because we complain about everything but because this game needs help before it dies.
-
Can't wait for DLC to add back game modes that weren't put in the Vanilla game... When DLC comes out I'm going to do with it what I started to do with D1. Which was to play it for about 2 weeks, beat the "story", beat the raid once, go flawless once(if there's even new gear added...) and then stop playing until the next dlc.
-
Completely AGREE!!!!! WHERE ARE YOU BUNGIE!!!!
-
Why? It's just a bunch of pointless drivel. Might as well have Kelly-Anne Conway run this show.
-
Amen brother. It's true what you said about the staff not replying to certain threads. They reply, constructively, to threads that hold minimum added value rather to threads explaining dreadful and game breaking points.
-
I love this “I was behind a wall how did he get me” BECAUSE OF 30FPS
-
You guys are delusional.
-
crickets.....................

Edited by IllDIDDYDONUT: 10/19/2017 11:43:58 AMtruth hurts so i doubt bungie will respond and if they do it will be a miracle one last thing pc players don't buy in to this game save your money for now come back in 3 years for that knocked down all in one bundle at least then you wont fill robbed again

nothing but hoping blindly for this game

I want to hear more news about what's next and what they're doing. I imagine we will be hearing this week or next about Festival of the lost - At least I hope so - there has always been something added in Halloween. Even in Vanilla Destiny there were masks, spawn effects and such. Y2 and Y3 the Festival of the Lost was a lot more involved. If they are going to do it, I'd expect them to announce it soon - like that twitch stream they are going to do to explain what a "season" in D2 is or how long a season is or how many etc. ?? I expect in the TWAB this week or next. But this is Bungie. *shrugs. Players are slavering for things to do/ get. You think they'd let us know ? maybe tell us when the first DLC is coming (I imagine around December 15 - if D1 was any indication) But we'll see :X Bungie does like to make us wait. When a little info and straight-talking would make so many people so much less salty.

I wa so so hungry for Destiny 2 but when its served up in front of me I look at it and find im not hungry anymore. Never had a game that actually makes me feel depressed based on how gooď it could have been but how shit it turned out to be. Not even the DLC will make any difference. Can almost sense it will be same $#@£ re rolled bugged and finished in a few days and find yourself reverting back to sitting in orbit thinks "THERE MUST BE SOMETHING INTERSTING TO DO" :( Horizon Zero Dawn DLC due out soon and Anthem in 2018 may finaly send this franchisee to the Halo vaults #10yearjourneymyarse

They won’t do or say anything major before the PC release to not influence the PC sales. I bet you Crota’s left nut we gonna have major patches this November!
