I do wonder how many last hope nerfs posts have been made, and I wonder how many more will be.
But the bottom line is no weapon should effectively allow someone who is at ~60% health to reverse a gunfight where the attacker is at 100% health, and landing critical shots.
Simple fix is reduce the amount of damage this weapon type does per shot.
other fixes could include
*burst spread (they have virtually none in optimal range,)
*RoF decrease
*mag size decrease.
I don't particularly want this archetype of sidearms left where they are because regardless of if you buff the other sidearm types, these guns will still be out-liers for ttk and potential kills in a single magazine amongst all other weapon types of comparable slots. (so not power weapons)
I am not inclined to drastically increasing or decreasing ttks across the board in Destiny. it has a sweet spot between Halo and CoD that I appreciate.
Honestly I am just tired of seeing 1 of 2 weapons equipped in 3 of 4 enemies' energy slots in actually every single game.
if you disagree I put a checkmark for that.
please do not scream "You're just mad because you can't win your gunfights ~naaaaaaa".

6 RepliesOther side arms just need to be buffed so that non omolon side arms are on par with omolon side arms. Because right now in regards to side arms it's omolon or you're having a bad day.

Edited by Jinx: 10/18/2017 11:38:29 PMThe problem is that they don't look enough like a vibrator yet. They're close, especially with a pink or purple shader, or that one with all the wiggly veiny lines on it... Round off the end a little... Maybe a few studs, make the controller vibrate when ever they're equipped, that's all they really need.... Edit to add: Also we need purple shaders for swords.... Similar reasons.

Yes, let's nerf the only interesting weapons in the game and make this game play slower than it already is. Great idea. That's the answer. Nerf Mida too. Oh, and Uriel's. Actually, nerf anything that kills anybody. When people realize there's rare weapons that are viable, they'll be calling for a nerf on rares. When people realize Antiope is the meta, nerf that as well. Don't even bring in any new weapons because if they're good, they have to be nerfed. Everything must have the same TTK. I'm a boring person and i can't handle variability. I also can't compete with anyone anyways, therefore anyone that kills me simply had a better gun and it needs to be nerfed. blah blah blah, every post about nerfs ever blah blah blah.

Say no to nerfs.

1 ReplyLook at all the people who don't want there crutch to be nerfed.

I dont like the range on them. Other than that yes they should be good up close but when im at a distance they should not melt.

Nothing is ever strictly PvP based with bungie

2 RepliesGive them the handcannon "bloom" effect so accuracy is reduced when spam-firing

Good analysis of the situation. I think that damage, RoF and Mag Size all have a more significant effect for PvE so they probably won't be touched. However, initial accuracy and overall stability or recoil pattern could be modified to make them harder to manage.

Reduce magazine size to 21. Don’t touch damage. It’s really just the omolons.
