Flawless trial winners accounts should fight other flawless, not those who have never been.
I understand a dedicated server is a bit much to ask for. However I do believe there needs to be a system in place where those that have gone flawless that week can only go up against those that have also gone flawless that week. Not account but more the individual character. This would make it more challenging for the players who indeed want a Trials "challenge", while also allowing those that have never been a chance at actually making it to the flawless. Without having to beg, or pay someone else to get through. Going on my first match and battling someone who is on their flawless match just doesn't seem to be fair. Just my opinion.

There is a simple way of fixing this but Bungie will never do it. Put a ranking system in trials and base it off wins. This way if a team goes 6-0 and then wipes their card so they can play pvp scrubs like me and go 6-0 again then rinse and repeat until they want to go flawless. So by doing this the can still wipe their card but the would still only play people that have 6, 12, or how ever many wins the team has and they wouldn’t go up against a team that has no wins. In turn it will make it a lot more competitive for all these try hard trials players the more wins they get. This would also see who the real badass trials players actually are. I’m a scrub in pvp and don’t play it often but Bungie has always had a broken competitive pvp game.

I wonder when these posts are going to stop, I mean seriously, quit crying about it already, I play trials just to play it cause it’s a mode I can actually “sweat” in, even if I lose I don’t care, just play again, went flawless 4 times so far, don’t care if I don’t go again, I play it because I like getting killed by the last hope

That couldn't happen because then some people can't play Trials with friends who haven't gone flawless. Remember, friendship is the ultimate endgame.

6 RepliesI would literally never go flawless again just to spite players like you. I'd play to the 6th game then reset my card and keep punching holes in shit kids' cards just to prevent you from going flawless.

why dont you try playing quickplay solo que, and taking on teams of 4, then fighting and fighting until you can actually beat teams of 4 solo improve your skill level, WORK to become BETTER then the players who have been flawless will not be hard to beat

I find this all amusing. I guess I should clarify a little more. Im not expecting for an easy ride. I actually enjoy the challenge. I guess I win the jackpot of BS because more often than not I get paired with sweaty players. I don't need to go flawless, I would like to. Trying to get to 5 wins is such a chore compaired to D1. When I say fair I am looking to not be set up with someone on their 6th flawless run to just dump a load of crap on me for a laugh. But I understand those who want to flaunt their "skills", I use that term loosely as some are just good at cheesing.

6 RepliesTrials isn't meant to be fair, it's supposed to be for people who are skilled enough for a flawless, even outside of a flawless, it is easy to get wins if you play correctly. Idk how people can't communicate, and stick with each other. This game isn't meant for solo play.

This was a big issue in d1 as well. It was pretty much "If you want flawless, earn it." Being carried or not being good enough means no flawless. "Flawless" shouldn't mean the best of the worse. Several players even stated they only do trials to knock off sherpas and rookies. I feel this way too, but have never gone flawless. I have come close, and it makes me want to try harder and get better.

8 RepliesTell you what let’s just give everyone the rewards from the spire on reset day without playing a game. Is that better? They changed matching making for you lot moaning, it never should of changed from win based. You can literally be matched up against anyone at any point on the card. Chances are most teams have a KD below 1. If you can’t go flawless with this current matchmaking system you may as just give up playing first person shooters altogether.

5 RepliesMy trials group has faced several streaming groups, multiple times. I'd rather have a completely random chance of skilled opponents, than something that matches me until the least skilled players are left. Who cares about flawless anyways? It's an emblem now, you can get the gear and weapons without flawless. So you're literally asking for something to be done to make the emblem easier to obtain. What does that even mean if they keep narrowing the pool of players to people who haven't gone flawless? It's asking for a participation trophy. They've already made end game activities pointless compared to D1, and you can get to 305 without actually participating in end game events. You can even acquire trials weapons through clan achievements without ever going in yourself. So what more needs to be done?
