Anyone Remember Tenchu: Stealth Assassins?

And could a reboot of Tenchu: Stealth Assassins be worth playing? Having a sand box fantasy version of Feudal Japan could be very interesting.  The map layouts could be a more condensed version of Phantom Pain since vehicles would be restricted to Horses and such.  Wheat and rice fields to hide in, crawling on your belly MGS style, using grappling hooks to reach the top of huts and scale castle walls.  Clatrops, smoke bombs and of corse lots of slicing throats. It could also be set at that critical time when Samurai and the solider class below them [Name escapes me] started using firearms.  With the enemies of your Emperor resorting to guns and black magic it's up to the Shinobi to take them out from the shadows. The crux would be how to employ sword combat.  I'd imagine it would be a more restricted version of Dark Souls with enemy lock on and a timed perfect parry system.  Choose your loadout then it's aquire on site.  Full range of assasinate, sabatoge, kidnap and information gathering missions. Just an Idea, what do you guys think?
