You do realize that the current season is likely to last for a bit.
I. E. There is no way that Bungie is designing a full set for every Iron Banner.

that's why they should have made some actual new guns, not just reskins. especially when I can just reskin them myself with weapon shaders.

It's a zero sum game. If you want them to spend more time making new weapon models they have to spend less time doing something else. Reskins while, less exciting, does serve a purpose. Especially now that we don't have random rolls anymore. All of the Iron Banner weapons have a unique perk set.
