I'm sorry for not being sorry.
This is simply far too rediculous to be considered a passable competitive or casual game. It's not a learning curve issue but a developmental and feedback quality issue.
Who the heck tested your spawn system?
Who did your control checks on your weapon balances?
This should be unacceptable after the many trial and errors experienced from destiny 1. This isn't a suros regime or vex mythoclast scenario but far far worse but of the same idiotic design. I cannot and will not forgive this ignorance. Can you even fire anyone from your quality control team? Because I question if there even is one.
The spawn system should not even be something i need to point out. It's obviously broken and should be noticed upon your third game of control.
I want this game to be better then this. Otherwise I'm done even gracing bungie as a developer with another dime from here on out regardless of future titles. Do I want you to crash and burn? No but continue down this ignorant path for another month and il rally with the rest of the rioting patrons you have let down.
Get your sh** together bungie.

Yeah this game sucks

Make bigger maps with spawn points - Give the spawning player a full super that's activated on landing and lasts for 10 seconds so they can kill/stomp/blast/electrocute anyone camping around the spawn points + double points for kills within a circumference of Sp Point, by the spawning player

This is what happens when you have stoners for QC. They go home and pass out and report back that everything was good because they were too high and didn’t actually test it.
-
This implies they have a quality control team in the first place.

Unfortunately, all the people they have that test the game are nothing but kiss ass yes men. I'm sure they give no viable feedback other than, "OH MY GOD!! THIS GAME IS PERFECT"!!!!!!! That's why we have a game that is boring and about 20 different faction tokens.

This redesign is worse that 2010's Digg redesign that destroyed its readership. This is worse than when Slashdot got new management and basically eliminated voting on articles and wanted to go more 2.0 in style. This feels like being a incoming freshman and getting suckered into buying an elevator pass for a huge school with only one floor.

They have your money now. They are done

Sorry to tell you this, but they gave up long ago

Its activision, They are the devil irfl, but Im sure -blam!-ing bungie knew who they were getting into bed with. As long as they are with activision you can forget about them getting their shit together.

Edited by CowboyAlec: 10/17/2017 10:27:50 PMHoly shit. You think QA is an easy job? Take this scenario first: A company is busy putting a game together. They are told by the publisher "hey for the 4th year we want a new game, not just DLC." When this happenes you are in crunch mode 24/7. Not only are you looking at the player experience but you are looking at bugs that will impact that experience. Eventually it gets to a point where the developer says "okay, we are sorry but the story and missions CANNOT be changed unless its a critical issue." When this happens then it turn into trying to hammer down bugs and try to not let any past. Even then it comes to critical issues only the closer it gets to submission date. Then comes the patches, the oh so glorious patches. The publisher says "Any bugs you found previously need to be fixed in patches." Then it turns to testing these patches, but you also have to test the content set to release. These features(in this case) were the raid, the faction rally, and the IB. But THEN you have the DLC, as well as the fact the games has launched and they are receiving feedback from consumers. The QA/Investigation team can get overloaded. Second scenario: You have these great ideas for the next instalment of your game. You work actively to put them together, but the publisher is breathing down your neck. They want more money, they cant take a year off, they need the game to be out by the year 4 deadline. So you have to make sacrifices. Some of the features bungie felt that they couldnt cut, but Activision basically says "-blam!- you we have a date to make." So the QA team has to bite a bullet and cant report what they want. Then the game comes out and everything they noticed comes to light. Activision pins the blame on them, and asks "why the hell did we pay your QA team to do this." Basic TL;DR, QA teams get alot on their plate, especially when the publisher is pushing the developer. Its not FULLY on the developer when it comes to incomplete games. Publishers who push their developers to push put incomplete games and to "patch patch patch" are also part of the issue. P.S. Its people like you who ask for firings within the Video Game industry that shuts down studios.

They gave up

No joke! This game is an awful. A buggy piece of un-enjoyable crap...
-
There network system completely circumvented quality control, connectivity is terrible. How many maintenance and down for service notifications have there been, never seen a game need so many so soon after launch. The raid has many inconsistencies, and issues that seemed to escaped quality control. What is funny is they seem to fix something and it creates another issue. And people are asking for 6v6. It would be an absolute shit show on these maps and their present server set up.
-
You think they test their shit?! Hate to tell you they're too busy launching PC. And they'll only care about PC once it's out. -blam!- them
-
There is no way a quality control team employed by bungo
-
This. Wtf is going on at bungie? How are they not embarrassed?
-
They don't pay anyone to test their games ... WE PAY to test their games ...
-
Fire the people who hired the current QC team lol.
-
sandbox team deserves the same
-
Been saying for years that their QA team/process is crap.
-
I mean yeah, a broken Nightfall was identified the last go around. Let's just make it this week's Nightfall, having not fixed it or anything....
-
Quality control team? lol, we're the quality control team
-
I don't understand how on maps of the same size with 2/3 of the number of the enemy players, how I'm getting shot off spawn just as often.
-
I absolutely agree that d2 is booty but complaining about spawns is ignorant. Spawns are completely dependent on ally location moreso than enemy proximity. It's been this way since halo. Spawn points are essentially laid out in a four grid format and if you are on a team or facing a team that has poor teamwork and all like to lonewolf, you find more often that spawns seem to almost trap you near an enemy. It's simply because the search engine trying to find an available spawn is trying to follow an ally to give you some form of protection but if your allies are mobile, or surrounded by the enemies the spawn calculator send you further. Essentially the more spread out and mobile your team the more often sude by side spawns happen with enemies. The more your team works together and moves from grid to grid in unison, the more predictable the spawns. Spawn trapping 101. Play c.o.d with spawn trap pros and poop yourself. The sad thing is there's four grids and only four players in pvp.... Make bigger maps bungo!!

A better question is how they wrecked PvP instead of improving on what we had in D1? Spawn points are terrible but so is being shot through walls on a regular basis. Also the fact that there’s only 2 game types and we don’t get to choose!!! I quit out every time I get Set the Charge crap. Absolutely not fun at all. I’ve had the most fun playing Iron Banner, not because of the crap weapons or the fact they drop so low I can’t use them but just being able to play a normal game type like in D1.
