It's hard to want to come back to Iron Banner...
After opening 57 packages on my hunter and not completing the armor set it's hard to even want to play next season... I don't even know if it's gonna be the same rewards and maybe there will be a new set... I wish there was a different system in play.

I understand how you feel . Luckily I only got up to about 27 packages ... still no leg or cloak gear , but gosh got a lot of worthless non Iron banner loot like the Icarus set and vanguard loot . Wow , why would they put non iron banner gear in the prize pool .

Amazes me you hung in that long. I turned in three, got the fusion rifle twice, three crucible weapons and a handful of shaders. Given the potential length of of the grind, and a homie turning in ten and getting more duplicates that anything else, I wasn't gonna spend a bunch of time on it. They should really bring back the D1 approach and have a tiered vendor approach instead of the same rng approach of every current vendor. Then again, were I to guess, they likely kept it this way to keep IB populations up during the event.

4 RepliesI understand the frustration but in D1 it was the same. Almost impossible to get all the gear in 1 Iron Banner even though there was no token systems. I’ll get my missing Titan mark in the next IB ;)

I got as far as 10 packages and gave up - 6 sub-machine guns (to be fair I did get autorifle / pulse & fusion in the last 3 packages so freely admit I am probs ungrateful) but just one helmet..... Much prefer the old Iron Banner, the current format feels a bit too much of a slog and is utterly joyless.
