Where are heroic strikes !?!?
So I am now 305 in destiny 2 played the raid and done Iron banner. My friends and I used to love strikes in destiny 1 but it isn’t worth it anymore Destiny 2 because You realize doing regular strikes don’t give you anything and nightfall’s are like a one time thing. Heroic strikes were something you can do all day because the loot was always worth it. I think when you adding more stuff for end game keep this in mind (Also add back siva offering or something like that in destiny 2).Who ever agree or disagree leave in poll

6 RepliesThey’ll come back. Strikes need a serious overhaul. We need heroics, we need strike specific loot, we need the bonuses for completing multiple in a row, and we need randomized rolls back.

They are semi useful when you hit 305. Blues sometimes drop at 300, so at least I can level up my other gear while running them.

Bungie released D2 with 5 strikes and not having strike specific loot makes the Playlist boring

Bungo/Activicious realised they could cut heroic strikes from the launch game and sell them as DLC later on. In fact*, I heard they were absolutely seething that they missed out on that particular opportunity in D1...howls of anguish in the halls of Bungovision at giving us too many strike options off the bat in D1. *...no fact about it hahahaha, but I bet I'm not far off....

Strikes in D1 were good but even they got boring real quick after your 10th, 20th or even 30th time doing them and were just normal Ines but with beefier adds and with the same old crap loot that's useless anyway. (Op says heroic strike loot was useful but I think his memory is tainted). Now a mini 4 player raid would be good or even 2 or 3 completely new harder strikes that are only available as hard mode with unique weapons/gear that don't appear in the normal strike playlist. But please god no more re-skinned shit to keep us playing as that shit just doesn't cut it.

-Bring Heroic strikes back. -Improve drops (right now doing PE's is 5 times as effective) -Strike specific gear/weapons (even if that means Joe Casual can't get it) -Fix matchmaking (for friendships sake keep fireteams together if noone leaves)

2 RepliesI think I have done maybe 10 strikes tops between my 3 characters(minus a few nightfalls), they are a waste of time where as in destiny 1 I'd probably do more than that in a week.

Heroic strikes were OK with decent burns but you all need to realise that heroic strikes will not magically save Destiny 2.

I really liked the abomination heist boss fight. It had the variety I look for in a sandbox game. Of course you had your character to play with. However it also had scorch cannons, or blades, and possibly a turret. It was fun. Why they can't continue that sort of thing I don't know. I wouldn't care at all if it meant less strikes, quality over quantity.
