It's rough. I can't imagine how bungie devs and project leads must feel when they go home at night. They're pride and joy has been met with pure venomous hatred. Why? Because even the casuals aren't having fun now. So who was this game for? They took the depth and difficulty out of PvE Everything falls into your lap and is boring anyways so there's no longevity to be had at all. And they took the light hearted-ness of PvP and tried to build it around hardcore competition and clans. But they want Everyone to get a trophy because "wah wah wah I never got a gjallerhorn!!" Again... who is this game for??? I don't understand. People want 6v6... But They can't make it that way because every map is way too small. They'd have to make a whole set of new maps, which with bungie, would take ages. So their only hope would be just to roll over old maps. And iron banner has been completely hijacked and castrated and the lore has been totally disregarded. Light level is not power level and it no longer matters... People want immersive and challenging endgame... But they can't make it that way either! because their "revolutionary" story mode is completely centered around one character that is 86'ed 5 hours into the game! we get a very very boring raid, beautiful raid, but boring raid, with a cheesy "horde mode" in between 4 mini games, that all don't make sense in the lore, until AFTER you finish it, AND get enough gear to piece together a very very short story... and guess what. Tons of people have yet to finish it. BUNGIE THIS IS FOR YOU. Guided games is the single most horrible investment of time and money you've made ever. It is infinitely unhelpful in the shadow of more useful methods like DestinyLFG.com or destinyLFG.org drop it and focus your resources on more lucrative aspects of the games experience! We have all these NPCs that have no depth at all, but are confusingly integral to our story, and we have no way of learning anything but superficial facts about them. The main class leaders are still just a mystery. With anything we know about them being totally in line with you're run of the mill cliche action character stereotypes. I'm mean jfc I could go on and on. Who. Is. This. Game. For. It's not for the people that played destiny 1 TLDR; bungie needs to drop destiny 2 and work on a new expansion for destiny 1. They need to give the live team the reigns again. they need to get a more creative and relevant project lead. Someone who is actually in touch. And they need to step the -blam!- away from activision as soon as -blam!-ing possible. Peace.
