Yeah that’s the theory that I was going with too .. but I don’t understand making the class as a whole trash when warlocks and titans had their op moments in D1 too. Remember the hammers when they first came out and stormtrance has Always been pretty obnoxious. Yet our void bow doesn’t even deactivate enemy supers on contact in either game 🤦🏽‍♂️

Simple, the devs hate hunters. All of them play as warlocks or titans. During the reveal of D2 no one talked about the hunter class. Its clear bungie doesnt like the class and I bet if it was purely up to them, they would delete the class in full. Arcstrider doesnt one shot other supers, and yet it is constantly one shot.. I will hit a striker in fist of panic and it takes two to three hits for me to kill them, same for hammer of sol, stormcaller, and dawnblade.. The void bow doesnt one shot anything anymore, it takes two to three seconds for it to actually latch on to an enemy, and even then the supresstion of the super doesnt work until a full two seconds later. Golden gun doesnt one shot either unless its the three shot, and it has to be a headshot. I main a hunter, I am well aware of the weakness of this class.. but i still love it so much.
