Shouldn't the release date be a Saturday if you want a fair, untarnished "world's first," or would that not give the streamers who have no jobs their unfair advantage?

Oh, yea. I know that. As far as I know, they didn't have access to anything like this where "world's first" would be announced though. So they don't get an extra advantage tacked on for that.
