Story of The Red Death

I know its a D1 topic but Red Death has always been one of my most loved exotic guns in the Destiny universe. So....lets get started. Now Red Death had more to its flavor text than "Vanguard policy urges guardians to destroy this weapon on sight." In year one of Destiny, Red Death's text said "Vanguard policy urges guardians to destroy this weapon on sight. Its a guardian killer." Now to understand why the "its a guardian killer" part was added...we have to understand the SUROS Regime. You see at the time, the City Age, guardians that patrolled outside the city walls were mainly issued the SUROS Regime. The reason for this that the SUROS Regime could heal the guardian and allowed them to have an advantage in their encounters with the fallen. Now notice how Red Death has not only the ability to heal the guardian...but has the frame of an auto rifle. So...where am i going with this? Well, i this the Red Death is a modified SUROS Regime. Why? Well in the cards City Factions: FWC, it is said the FWC have a device that allow them to see into a possible future. Well one guardian (a hunter) used this device and saw the destruction of all humanity at the hands of the Vex. In seeing this, much like others who used the device, went mad. In going mad he would ramble on and on about the vex and became aggressive towards other guardians. Now seeing what was going on with him...the Vanguard and the Consensus exiled him out of the city. As he wandered the wilds, he came across a guardian who had a SUROS Regime. Seeing how he was both insane and angry at the city...he killed the guardian and stole his SUROS. He went on to modify it so that it always healed, fired in a 3 round burst, and he attached his knife to the barrel of the rifle. He went on to kill 15 more guardians with this weapon. Some how we got out hands on it, and seeing how this weapon has been the reason 16 guardians died their last death, the Vanguard banned this weapon from entering the city. But being the stupid guardian we are...we got our hands on it and continue to use it...UNTIL GARY DESTROYED THE VAULTS!!!1!!

This is complete fabrication. Red Death is clearly derived from the Masque of the Red Death. The literal interpretation of the story is that man tried so hard to stave off and avoid death. The story ends with the line "Darkness and Decay and the Red Death held illimitable domination over all." Meaning simply, death is the finite end to all living things. The Red Death in destiny is literally that, the embodiment of the Red Death (death) being held limitless over all (heal and fast reload after every kill) to literally stay in the fight until everything is dead. The mad guardian mentioned in the lore could very well be Toland, he had a score card for being off his rocker and made the Bad Juju which is also a pulse rifle (warlocks seem to have a thing for pulse rifles). The number of kills on the barrel guard could be victims, there's 9 on each side which seems to bare no semblance to the play "Masque of the Red Death". This weapon was my absolute favorite to use from the Day Xur sold it on his first tower visit all the way until WoTM with nearly 100k kills with the weapon, we're well acquainted

So if this is true, then the auto rifle 'Red Spectre' was an attempt to copy the Red Death by certain foundries?
Rumor has it that Red Death prototypes are circulating in the Crucible once again.
This is a convincing story, but while it does answer some points about the weapon itself, it also generates more questions, like why would the foundries develop a weapon based off of another weapon as infamous as the Red Death? Nothing wrong with it, just expanding on it a little.
