I did. I use a Western Digital on my Xbox, but I used a crappy 1 TB Seagate on my PS4 because I recently got my PS4 and didn't have too much need for extended storage. Apparently whatever happened to my PS4 corrupted both the internal and external drives. I managed to fix the internal drive by restoring the database and re-initializing the console, but the external Seagate is done. I tried for an hour to fix it, but my PC will not recognize it at all to reformat. I had to go buy a new one. Went WD again.

Turning power off while using it or if a storm knocks the power out can be bad. But I would never buy Seagate products again. I've had horrible luck with them.

I agree with this. Seagate is cheap for a reason. I've told multiple people on here to avoid the brand but everyone wants to go cheap on the part they shouldn't.

I have had a 3tb seagate external harddrive for three years, no problems ever sorry you had problems

Just because seagate is trash doesn't mean every single hdd or SSD they make is going to take a shit. If that were the case there's no way they'd still be in business.
