So KOA Reckoning is an amazingly well made Single player Action RPG that sadly got ignored by a lot of gamers, including my self at the time of its release (2012).
I have to say I 100% regret never playing this, there's tons of content, whether they be faction quests, side quests, going through dungeons, or tasks such as upgrading your own little house you get at near beginning of the game.
There's also the fact that the character/enemy designs feel special and unique.
There's also a really nice and enjoyable crafting system, whether it be alchemy, black smithing or 'sage crafting' (where you make gems and socket them into items to give them a buff).
From how much I've played, there's seemingly a ton of replayability in the game, I've spent 12 hours so far and I already wanna go back and see what it'd be like if I chose a sword and shield heavy class, or a rogue do with daggers, or a ranged bow user, or a mage, there's so many reasons to give this game a try if you enjoy RPG's.

3 RepliesKoA is a fantastic game and it needs to be made Back compat. Also Too Human and Fable anniversary deserve the love too.

4 RepliesIt was not a hidden gem, it received lot's of attention, and was viewed generally favourably. Just because it wasn't a skyrim or call of duty does not mean it was hidden

1 ReplyVery fun game. I loved the character building and crafting. Pretty nice story. I got pretty annoyed that theres very few enemy types. And I vaguely remember being very disappointed at a lot of bosses being the same as regular enemies. It was originally supposed to be an MMO. I think that shows in how big the world is and a lot of the side quests

Kicks ass, too bad the studio went under.

I liked all the "Fate" stuff you could do

2 RepliesI found that the missions got fairly repetitive and the combat wasn't that great... Dragon's Dogma came out not long after and was much better, IMO.

5 RepliesMy heart was broken when I heard they may never make a sequel.

Chakrams, them things were super fun to use.

Welcome to sadness. This game will never have a sequel.

I remember this game confusing me as it was a bad game, mediocre game and really good game at the same time. I do think I clocked in over 100 hours on it though so I probably liked it.

I loved this game!! I played it over Skyrim and thought it was great. Would've had some great expansions or sequels if they could've gotten some sales...but that's what happens when you release a fantasy RPG a couple months after Skyrim...
