Destiny 2 crashes when visiting the tower
After completing an event in Destiny 2, if you try going to the tower, the games crashes. This is a recurring theme within the game.

I know how you feel. But even when I've just loaded the game and hit the Tower while on XBOX, the game will crash while I do some small things in the Tower, so it gets irksome.

Players may experience other crashes, such as general PlayStation error CE-34878-0, when launching to Tower. Investigations are ongoing for these crashes.

Me too. I think bungie have acknowledged the issue and are working on it. It's frustrating as heck.

2 RepliesEdited by REDDOG314_JR: 10/11/2017 4:02:46 PMSame thing keeps happening to me as well either the game freezes when I’m in orbit or it loads me into the tower and I can hear zavala or vendors talking but the screen goes black. My solution or rather a bandaid to fix this is if it freezes while loading try to open up the options menu and scroll over to settings and hit the log out button then select change character and it should work. Don’t disconnect and reconnect because you may lose engrams and other items or your characters won’t reload correctly and it will say your rank is 0 but that’s just temporary. This fix has worked for some but it is not a guaranteed fix in certain cases the game may crash completely meaning you are unable to access the menu so the only solution is to painfully reset the game... Update: This fix will not work anymore since the newest update if it freezes and you try to reload the game it will now crash with the dreaded blue screen. Also when I tried to reenter the game after resetting i got a message saying that Destiny 2 is at maximum capacity. “The Tower Has Been Lost To The Darkness Literally”

yes game wont let me go to tower or farm sometimes error code 3-4 times a session. Bungie please fix this!

Bump. Frustrating having to close the game down completely, start again and sit the painfully slow loading screen to get to character selection......

Happens to me at least 2~4 times a day for 2 weeks now. It's getting really frustrating. Today not only did I get it 3 times in a row, after I am in the tower, it crashes again. WTF BUNGO?

As soon as I unlock the Tower on a character, the game starts bluescreen crashing or getting stuck loading forever most times I try to go to the tower. It seems to have been in the game since launch and they have done not a single thing about it.

2 Replieshappening to me very often, too. must buggy console game I've ever played. in fact last month I had at least 40x more crashes due to D2 than in all my PS4 years before.

This ^^^^^ on PS pro & 1 out of 3 attempts I'll get into the tower. At first I realized if I stayed out of the menus while flying to the tower it's seem to be OK ,but if I was in my menus then it would crash. Now it doesn't seem to matter it kicks me completely out of the game with the PlayStation error code more often now no matter what as I fly to the tower. Just last night alone I was fire team leader, finish the raid & took whole team to the tower ,I was the only one to get kicked. Still in party chat everybody else landed in the tower I was looking at the dashboard of the PS. Just told guys have a good night, I'll get my stuff tomorrow when I get home from work.

More than half the times I attempt to go to the tower I spawn to a black screen. I can hear everything going on in the tower but can't do anything except to bring up my inventory and change character. It doesn't matter if I just did an event or just logged on.

I’m not even able to access the tower have tried 4 consecutive times now and the game crashes every time. I have an original PS4. What should I do?!
