With exotic armor not feeling too exotic at times, I have an idea for a hunter armor that grants invis. and some other bonuses.
So the only subclass that can go invis w/o any type of weapon is the nightstalker. This armor would allow gunslinger and arcstrider to go invisible. Every grenade and melee kill grants invisibility for 9 seconds. Grenade damage charges melee and melee damage charges grenades.
Nightstalkers wouldn't benefit a whole lot with this armor because their melees don't do much damage and their grenades are more dot but arcstrider and gunslinger both have melees that do good damage, and also have grenades that can do good initial damage. A gunslinger for example could wear this armor and use the rat king and have the potential to go invisible all the time. Throw a knife get a kill, go invisible get your knife back (if it was a headshot) AND partially charge your grenade. Get out of invis and get a rat king kill, go invis. Throw a grenade get a kill or two go invis and partially charge your melee (if you didn't get a precision kill)
Also, the armor could look kinda like a ghillie suit or something.

Exotic armor in general are garbage, even the Destiny 1 exotic armor brought forward is trash

2 RepliesYou realize how long 9 seconds is?

This is why I loved the "don't touch me" arms

1 ReplyInvisibility on every grenade or melee kill would be too much. I sat just make it grant invisibility after crouching for a couple seconds like the old bladedancer perk. Either that or have it give the dodge-invisibility to all subclasses and increase the duration of invisibility effects for nightstalkers

Just bring back kephri’s sting. That’d work

Or how about an exotic cloak that makes you invis. when not moving?

1 ReplyThat sounds like a good idea here's what bugie will do "ignore"
