6 RepliesI’m so glad Bungie is getting raked over the coals over the “friendship is your endgame” bullshit. Hell, that statement alone showed [i]everything[/i] that’s wrong regarding D2 and Bungie’s relationship with their fanbase.

Since I spent almost all my glimmer on using different shaders, I couldn't afford to buy all the maps at once. I ended up doing one a day and none of them were empty; 3 legendary and one exotic engram. And yes, the exotic was a lovely duplicate.

1 ReplyAs with everything else in D2, Bungie went full on easy mode for themselves with chests too. They all are on some bullshit timer so doing public events and opening chests counts. Opening planetary loot chests counts. Lost sector chests count. All the things count so you literally have to not play for a while then run straight to these damn chests while hoping none get opened AROUND you because that seems to count too. I spawn into a planet and never touch the controller and tokens steadily stream in. Nightfalls can have timers now which is really awful. Artificial difficulty because they STILL cant balance jack squat. They were great at Halo because everybody had the same shit, no balancing problems. They tried to do something new in Destiny and kept failing so guess what, back to everybody having the same shit to take out balancing problems. Brilliant.

If you open chests from the week before then you’re too late, they’ve been ‘looted’ already. Noticed on my first empty chest. None of the chests I’ve opened the week I bought them have been empty.

1 Reply2 of mine were empty this week. I even waited 15 or so minutes in between opening them, and made sure to not open any other chests or pick up dusklight in between. And still 2 were empty

Why isn't there some "Cayde Exclusive" gear that can randomly drop from the chests? Why is Bungie so damn lazy? They have so many good ideas but when it comes to implementing them FULLY in the game they always skimp out one way or another. What good are a few more chests that give out blues 99% of the time and have no opportunity for cool armor or something
