Per my post on Reddit, someone suggesting posting here as well, so here I am. We won't get into how Hunters in D2 are basically D1 Hunters with a pole instead of a blade, different topic for different day. The sad fact is that while Nightstalker is a pretty good subclass, Tether is horrendous in PVP. I mean, really bad. Infuriating bad. Here is a clip from a blueberry I played with the other day, Mr LaX Guy. Watch: [url]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20VlZnYq81U&ab_channel=HotCupofNasty[/url] What you just saw is this: ArcStrider pops super, player tethers ahead of enemy perfectly. Tether grabs Arcstrider and takes super, except the enemy continues to use super without arc looking affect. Enemy loses shield and gets a kill, while player that tethered perfectly, dies while using super as intended. What the %#!*? This is common in my use of tether in D2 PVP as well. The subclass is pretty dope for the invisibility, but the tether is trash for PVP, while the other supers in PVP are perfectly viable. This needs to be addressed soon, no questions about it. It wasn't lag, a bad spot to shoot tether, or anything of that nature. Tether is crap. And the sad fact is that this super doesn't kill anyone by itself, you literally have to do two jobs. Apply tether successfully, then shoot them. Not the case with Golden Gun, ArcStrider, Nova, Dawnblade, Storm, Hammers, Sentinel, Slam. I mean let's think about this Bungie. FIX! EDIT: And while what I said is true, I know someone will bring up the fact that the other tree offers multiple tether shots which could be more viable in PVP. I understand that, but it's tethering mechanism is the same. Takes time to grab, doesn't hold nearly as long, and it's tougher to even get a kill than in D1. Point taken, before the post even comes.
