I get this message every time I try to log in now. It is impossible for me to play the game. Was intermittent a coupe weeks ago, but now happens every time. Restarting PS4 does not do anything. I unplugged the power cord as instructed to clear my cache. I've restored my licenses. I do not have another console. This never happened in Destiny 1 before Destiny 2 was released. I've tried logging into Destiny 1 the last couple days and am now getting the same error. Nothing is working for me.

Bungie needs to do some thing about this problem. i mean if i'm lucky then i can log on 1 day out of a week i have paid for every single Game and DLC's i have paid for silver multiple times this is not cool bungie please do something about this problem i have tried every thing turned my ps4 off and on restartet my router even restored my licens nothing is working and i only have one ps4.

2 RepliesAnybody know how to fix this issue in 2020. I've never had anything like this happen before, and I only have one console, and have only ever signed in on my PS4. No one else has access to my account info so no one could have signed in somewhere else.

#FIX# I had this issue. I had a buddy of mine sign into my account on his PS4 and load into D2. After he signed out I signed back in on my PS4 and it allowed me to play.

3 RepliesGot this message today, still an issue. Tried all the fixes, Never had my account accessed anywhere else but this system and I only ever do PvP for weapon quest. Not sure why it started up but sucks because I kinda paid for shadowkeep and all and barely got any use out of it :/

1 ReplyOn Xbx1 me and another friend are having the same issue since last week and are unable to log in. Ive seen other posts reemerge about this issue since last week too. Wtf! Many , including me seem to have att as a provider. Ive tried another connextion and I could log in fine. Yet i cant use the non att connection to play all the time. We need a fix asap!

11 Replies[b][/b]This is how I fixed it on PS4. I went into settings and set up WiFi custom. Put everything as automatic or do not use, but when it says DNS, choose manual. Set both primary and secondary to 8.8.4.4. Close Destiny 2 application, reopen and it worked. (For me at least)

So I just had this happen. I unplugged hard reset everything it wouldn't work. I checked my downloads and had 3 items that weren't dl. I dl them and boom. Right up in good to go. Just check it might work.

1 Reply95% if the time I get that error code but 5% if the time It seems as I have got into my game menu but my screen goes pitch black....I can hear the options menu opening and my map menu opening but I get no visual and no gameplay

2 RepliesI get the same message i have restored my licences turned my system on and off multiple times I came back an hour later and got the same thing then came back another hr later been trying to log in for 4 hrs now !!! What are you doing to fix this Bungie this is rediculas !!!!

I'm having the same issue every time I try to log in to D2. Tried all the suggestions in this list: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/235602396?sort=0&page=0 (turning ps4 on and off, logging in and out of PSN account, restoring licenses), but none of them have helped.

If anyone has the exact same issue as me (can't proceed past character selection), give this a try... Changed my password today per a suggestion above and still wasn't able to get past character selection this evening. Decided to give the DNS solution a try. I have a Norton Core router and it defaults to Norton secure DNS. Changed it to Google DNS (8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4) and it worked! Closed out of D2 and changed back to Norton secure DNS to see what would happen and I can still log in. Maybe I just needed a brief change of DNS scenery. Fingers crossed that this is a permanent solution. PS. Been a couple days now and so far so good.
