I have too many Legendary Shards (1000+)
I have over 1000 legendary shards but I'm not earning enough glimmer to use them all. At the moment, there just isn't enough for me to be able get through the shards. A couple of simple fixes for this could be:
1) Reintroduce the mystery exotic engrams from Xur. Sell them for say 30 shards each engram. This would give everyone a chance to get each exotic or at the very least get higher power versions of exotics already owned.
2) Allow players to spend their shards on Mods. It would be a simple addition to be able to use Legendary Shards as well as the mod components to buy a random legendary mod from Banshee. 10 Shards per mod would be a fair price in my opinion.
3) Allow Legendary Shards to be used to rank up factions. In Destiny 1 we could convert Motes of light for faction reputation. I'm thinking a fair rate would be 20 legendary marks for each rank-up.

2 RepliesBuy ghosts from eververse until you get some with the perk for extra glimmer. I have one for 10% glimmer gains in EDZ. Yeah your ideas are better but this might help you catch up on glimmer while holding your breath for bungie to add your ideas. ;-)
