You know, I looked back through the B-Net news and Patch info and now I can't find it. I must have dreamed it or something. In any case, the faction events are "periodic" and it makes sense that we should be able to change factions during the next event, whenever that occurs. Then again, this is Bungie, so who knows.

I find it hard to believe that we are stuck with them permanently.

Factions will be gone soon then return again and you can choose again, they're not permanent this time.

Me too. Of course, I was stuck with an ugly titan and uglier hunter for all of D1. Poor guys couldn't even get a hair cut or repaint their faces, much less get a sex change. Permanent ugly.

I believe what's going to happen is the factions will be leaving and they will return later, where we can then re choose factions.

I picked NM for the shades on my hunter, my main, and I would like to continue playing him but go back to my D1 faction, FWC.
