I for one I'm not able to do the nightfalls because the timers are to short and I get rushed and die way to much trying to make up for lost time. My play style is more of hanging back with a scout rifle and sniper and with the timer I can't do that now. anyone else have this problem. Bungie plz change this 🙂But overall great game

I am sorry; I think the revival timers are bull.... Playing games is fun but waiting 15 seconds to be revived is bull.... What brilliant programmer thought that a time delay would make the game more fun!!!!! The game is ok but I find that when I get frustrated waiting for this game; I go back to PVZ2!!!

The timer took the fun right out of it. That plus disappointing rewards makes nightfall something to avoid for me. Always used to do them with friends.... just not fun anymore. Great game, but lose the timer and please bring back rolls for weapons.

The timer is there to stop people from soloing it like in Destiny 1. That's the only reason I could think of to have a timer every week.

1 ReplyBetter than going orbit at the end

6 RepliesTimer sucks ass and I can complete it. It is really dumb to make a shooter game and then force people to run past and not shoot enemies. Retarded.
-
1 ReplyI've completed the nightfall on all three characters each week. With that being said, yes the timers must go it was absolutely asinine for Bungie to add them. I could understand as a modifier once in a while but not every goddamn nightfall!!!!!!
-
3 RepliesThere are 2 versions of the nightfall, why not make only one of them a timed run.
-
I genuinely don't understand the hatred for the timer, NF is still easy, killing the mobs doesn't take long, and it's not even a set timer, Bungie put mechanics in so you could increase your time. You can take out all of the mobs and still finish with 5 minutes to spare, I've done it the pasty 3 weeks easily.

1 ReplyI gave the prestige a go last night and we had about 2 minutes left for the boss fight. It is definitely doable but our strategy for clearing rooms was taking way too long. After three failed attempts we opted for a normal run and finished with over 5 minutes on the timer. I did a 2nd normal with two close friends and we had a lot of fun doing it. The timer didn't really become a factor. We hung back and did lots of add clearing before proceeding to find the anomalies and increase the timer. I don't really mind the timer, I like the added the pressure. What I would really like is a burn modifier. It gives you that edge but you can get equally stomped and shredded by enemies using that particular burn which is a good trade off. Maybe they'll change it, but this week will probably tick a lot of boxes for those who want a tougher and more challenging nightfall. I bow to anyone who completes it this week on prestige, it is a big accomplishment.

1 ReplyI don't like the timer. Nightfalls are full of enemies, tough ones, and it's a pain to be rushing all the time. They took the timer away from nightfall in D1 for a reason. I don't know why they brought it back. Who told them it'd be fun or why did they think it'd be fun?

Nightfall is ez. Either got gud or don't do it. No use in crying about it in forums m8
-
3 RepliesNF is not meant for the noob or Casual player. You should uninstall the game and find another. True legends embrace the challenge and conquer it They don’t cry on the Forum. Cya

1 ReplyLast week I had no issue with the timer, just give me a set amount of time. Hunting down cubes or jumping thru hoops is annoying. Hell this week would have been fine for timer kills even, since you can't really skip much.
-
I completed the Nightfall last week, but I'm definitely not a fan of the timer. I thought the whole reason they added the scoring system to strikes in D1, was to stop people sprinting through them. Now not only have they included a timer, one of this week’s modifiers means you literally have to sprint to get your health back.
-
Slow is smooth, and smooth is fast.
-
The way I see it, regular strikes are where you take your time because you can wipe there. In NF's, your ghost will actually revive you, but you have to kill your target before he escapes.
-
2 RepliesPpl would probably complain alot less and enjoy NF alot more, if timer was based on how many adds you kill. Need more time? Kill all adds without skipping. Wanna rush through and skip, no time gets added. If it was added this way I wouldn't have had much issue with it. But absolutely hate it. Which is why I do it for the milestone on prestige one my main, then never touch it. Heck I didn't even run it last week, rewards are crap anyway, the timer really just makes you not wanna run it. There has to be another way to make it challenging without this stupid timer

The timer is trash!!
-
Dude, the irony in all these posts crying about "my playstyle is sitting back". Thats how you beat this nightfalls, rushing will just get you killed lmao Sitting back, while taking more time, makes the run more fluent and smooth, which in turn makes for a faster Nightfall. You need to pace yourself and discover strategies that work. Certain places using a heavy or super on that will save a minute here or there. Its really not that hard, just requires a brain, two thumbs, and teamwork.

I like the timer, because it makes it feel like an accomplishment when you win. Every week so far my clan and I have failed at least once at the Nightfall, but then usually hop right back in and use what we learned the first time to better our progress. I like this, it feels like something you have to work for, and its very satisfying when you finally succeed after two or three tries. In fact, several times we have replayed Nightfall purely for the attempt to try and better our time, just to see if we could. I like this- it's the only thing in the game besides the Raid which feels like it makes you work for a reward instead of simply handing out items because you logged in for a while. Its more satisfying when you get rewards for actually accomplishing something instead of just getting them thrown at you because you bothered to log in.

There's a anomaly respawn glitch so there you whiners go
-
It’s easy timer or not.
-
So far the nightfalls are pretty simple except for 2, arms dealer and exodus crash. Arms dealer not so much, as my team and I beat it with five min left but it was way hard to get used to it. Exodus crash was the only one that took multiple attempts. The timer is stupid but anomalies and ring time modifiers make most of these easier to me with that 30 second boost.
-
3 RepliesTotally agree. I haven't done any D2 Nightfalls, my playstyle is like yours. I know I could complete them just fine but why would I when I know I won't enjoy it...
-
And that's not taking into account the utter bullet sponge enemies.

3 RepliesDestiny 1 = nightfall is too easy make it harder Destiny 2 = nightfall too hard remove timer Destiny 3= nightfall too easy need add timer
