With my three best friends, I am one of four clan founders for an open clan, A Bunch of Fruit. My friends and I had an idea, wouldn't it be useful if you were able to set multiple clan members as founders? As of now, I am the only one with the official title of "Founder." I know that founders are able to give admins roles and responsibilities similar to their's, with the exception of the ability to promote and demote admins, but to us, it doesn't have the same feeling (and the ability to promote and demote without going through the official Founder would be legitimately favorable, too). I am not sure if we are the only ones who feel this way, but I thought I would throw this idea on the forum in hopes of garnering some attention if the idea is as excellent as we think it is. I do not think of this as a negative in anyway. It does not hurt a clan who does not utilize it at all. It only benefits those, like my clan, who could utilize it.
**Edit 1 - If you feel strongly about this topic, make sure to upvote it so we can get it as much publicity as it deserves.
**Edit 2 - If you could, please defend your point as to why we should/shouldn't be able to set multiple founders.
Best regards,

Man this post is old but I would say yes Destiny should allow multiple Co Founders in their Clans. Coming from a Clan Founder my self.

This is a feature that I am surprised they did not think of ahead of time. I know this is an old post but a temporary solution to this, until it is changed, is to just create a Clan Founder Email, Clan Founder PSN & Clan Founder Bungie account that both Real-life Founders have access to and then set that Founder Account as the Founder and problem solved.

9 RepliesI am not an admin or founder, so my only experience with this is what you wrote. Based on this, it makes sense the way it is. The founder should be the one with admin privilege control as multiple people could demote each other or promote people without consulting the founder or anyone else. There could be a vote system sure, but you're still running that by the founder regardless. Imo if i were a founder, i would want to know who could have admin control over my clan that i made.

Couldn't have said it better myself. As the recruiter people ask me constantly, "Well, is it your clan?" And even though the 4 of us founded the clan together, being just an admin makes it feel like a lesser position. Being able to have multiple founders would give the opportunity to show that we are a close group of friends who all play a relevant part in keeping our clan honesy and honest.
