The Shiro-4 Sad story
So I have yet to find anything in destiny two that specifically says anything about shiro-4, but I think there's enough evidence in the game to assume the worst.
Firstly the only people who knew about shiro have either not even thought about them or don't know where he is. Tyra Karn specifically says that she [u]wonders where shiro[/u] is. And Lord Salidin has yet to make an appearance. Also Cayde who is the hunter vanguard hasn't brought up one of his best scouts once, in any diologe.
Now for the theory.
In D1 the is an exotic chest called the Lucky Raspberry and it was brought through to destiny 2. Shiro also wore the Lucky Raspberry when he was present in the Iron Temple. The description for the Lucky Raspberry says [i]it leaves the unworthy before they fall.[/i] I dont remember lucky raspberry being a rise of iron exotic. Maybe it was becuase shiro had it.
But now our guardians can find it again in D2. Does that mean the chest price left shiro becuase he was "[i]Unworthy[/i]"?
DOES THIS MEAN SHIRO IS [b][url=http://www.example.com]DEAD[/url][/b]!?!?!?

Ahh... if Shiro dying meant I got to keep Lucky Raspberry, I'm happy.

3 Repliesi don't have evidence but i don't think shiro is dead for a gurdian to die it either needs his light drain out of him or his ghost destroyed both pretty hard to hapend at random so if he died hi probably died his ghost reseruct him and he threw the Lucky Raspberry

The Lucky Raspberry was available in Destiny before and during Rise of Iron. Eris also seemed to wear a modified version of it. It is likely that these are just standard armor pieces, one of which was modified with the experimental tech that made the first Lucky Raspberry. Although Shiro might have died during the assault the existence of the Lucky Raspberry is not proof enough.
