Something weird about hunter boots.
Im a freak for recovery, I'm sure alot of people are now that we found out what mobility actually does. So I went looking for as much recovery as i could get.
I checked every faction and all their gear, and as far as I can see hunters cant even get 1 recovery on boots. I checked every patrol, zavala, ikora, and shaxx and none of them had any recovery on them
Even worse there are some hunter boots that say Survivalist hunter armor grants improved recovery, but grant 0 recovery no matter how you change the perks on the armor. The only way to get any recovery on your hunter boots is to put an armor mod on.
Edit: I understand many of you like to have high mobility on your characters and I understand that. I'm just wondering why there are no hunter boots to increase recovery even though they say improved recovery. It's MY preference.

I don't know who tested mobility but I clearly run faster than my friends side by side. I'm sticking with my mobility for flanking and crisp movement. If you need to rely on high recovery, you aren't a good hunter.

1 ReplyI posted this in the help section yesterday too. Survivalis leg armor drops with the exact same stats as heavy leg armor. It has to be some kind of bug. Btw mobility is the same as agility from D1. It is really helpful in PvP at least. Nothing is more annoying than that 10 mobility strafe. Not as useful as recovery but it's definitely worth grinding for a second armor set. Resilience on the other hand... 😂😂😂

1 ReplyYou can't recover if you're dead. Best way to stay alive is to have high resilience to survive a gunfight or more speed to run away and put enough distance between you and your enemy so that you're able to recover. Perfect example. Warlock healing rift... super fast recovery plus an overshield if shields are at max. As soon as someone takes shots in it... the recovery is pretty much useless.

Something weird about hunter boots? What about Titan boots? They are literally all just armored legs with work boots. My only hope is that they are at least steel toe.

3 RepliesIf they say they improve recovery, they will have a node for recovery you can select. Also, I stack Heavy on my Hunter. Resilience +10.

Mobility is to movement As handling is to a gun 8-10 mobility on my hunter for me. I like the hunter to feel clean and crisp not klunky

4 RepliesHunters are best as flankers. Play as a night stalker and use its invisibility skill as much as possible to flank around enemies when they're busy with your teammates. Titans are probably the most underpowered class in pvp and warlocks are the most capable class if they use the devour perk.

1 ReplyBungie trying to kill the hunters worst class in the game by far! They done make enough armor per class for you to be able to choose what you want. Lazy design. Let's give warlocks and titans the ability to recover healthy twice as fast but yea hunters can walk faster. Great game design.

2 RepliesYup max recovery as of now for hunters is 5 very sad and it's a joke they call this class balance when it's clearly not. The funniest part is all the hunters claiming how good it is because they get in then get out faster then anyone else but we are sprint at the same speed lol
