Since Jun is an SIII, that statement means nothing. He survived, Bungie confirmed it.

I think I know, in the 'defiance to the end' video on waypoint when it zooms in on the pelican in highlands, you see a spartan that looks a lot like Jun. Also, sorry if this is meant to be a conjecture thread, I just wanted to point it out.

Actually, Chief isn't the last S2. Read the bungie approved books "First Strike" and "Ghosts of Onyx" They reveal that several Spartan-2's survived. Also, Johnson survived, and he is a Spartan-1.

After listening to the Defiant Map pack track from the extension of Lone Wolf, I automtically thought of Jun. Kinda being the one with the goal of getting Halsey to Castle Base, he could have his own campaign. I mean, that whole defiant feel kinda describes him. If Jun really is alive in the Halo Universe, they could make a new campaign about his struggle with survivors at Castle to fight off the Covies. Regardless of what it would be about, I could totally see Jun kicking back the invaders until the war ended or he escaped. The Jun chronicles ...yeah

I love it how people are complaining about spoilers. All of Noble team dies on Reach, along with nearly all other spartans. It's no grand spoiler - in fact, it's what adds a third dimension and layer to the campaign's story. The knowledge that despite all your struggles, Reach IS going to fall, and with it, all spartans but 117.

its pretty obvious that the brutes captured him keep him as a sex slave for the prophets in the deep underground government of the covenant:)thats why the prophets want such useless brutes, to find diffrent spieces so the prophets can put put thier alien wieners in them. so he is still alive, one of these days hes going to break out maybe in halo 4? He was riding like Emile on the pelican and fell off. One of his bullets reflected off several walls and he sniped himself. He is surrounded by 120 grunts, with only his sniper and a DMR and 2 grenades.

I dont really like Jun.He's a bit cruel to the marines. Anyways there's a small chance he might snag a spot in halo 4. Not a big possibility but it could be. [Edited on 06.13.2011 12:24 AM PDT]

My Best Theory Halo 4 is set on Onyx, With a legion of SIII's Already inside. However, not many Halo fans will have Read onyx, so they'd need a relatable character to fight alongside MC Enter Jun

Or is it just the "Not Onyx" thing, because my logic is hazey with GOO, its been a while, the Dyson Sphere is what i mean Also if its the Logic of Jun being there i've made this point a few times, Halo games have a tendency to skip canon if it better suites the enviroment, Like the POA thing Ill put money on them ignoring the fact he wasnt once mentioned in First Strike and Ghost's but will happily plunk him in the shield world in a "Lul i az hidin behind dat rock tis hoooole time c:" fashion [Edited on 06.13.2011 7:50 AM PDT]
