Forum Emblems: Heroes, Legends and Mythics. Ninjas/Mentors got their D2 Version, where are ours?

It's been a pretty talked about topic by several people who had these Emblems in Destiny 1. We figured all Forum Emblems were being left behind, but then come to find out Ninjas and Mentors got Emblems for Destiny 2, while people who spent years on Forums, were not given new variations. Is this an oversight? I feel (my opinion) that if you are going to give Ninjas/Mentors new variations of their Destiny 1 Emblem in Destiny 2, you should do the same for the Shield of Heroes, Shield of Legends and Shield of Mythics.

  • Hero, Legend, and Mythic ranks no longer exist. Mentor and Ninja ranks do.

    • Folks here in the Halo era aren't important. Bungie has worked to establish a fanbase, rather than a community. So they've slowly worked to have those folks dwindle in both importance and the vets' capacity to care through repeated hits on their values- many of which Bungie preached prior to 2014. It doesn't surprise me that this occurred simply because there's no benefit in it for Bungie, and those people aren't really that prominent or vocal enough for it to matter. I'll never forget 2014, with the 'Datto' Destiny streamer being so disrespectful to the existing community proclaiming how they do not matter and how they are whining over nothing, then being praised by Bungie for advertising Destiny. It's sickening how much focus there is on a fanbase over a community when Bungie used to stand for a lasting community. But that's not who they are anymore. If you're not on that train yet... Well to be honest it left the station years ago. They gave the little nod in Destiny 1. That was meant to tide us over and lower expectations. But without anything to gain? There's no reason for them to go through the effort.
