Why does my low level scout rifle hit harder than my higher level one?
I apologize if this has been discussed already but I couldn't find it in a search.
I have a Nameless Midnight scout rifle at 265 I believe that hits harder than my MIDA multi tool at 290. I can kill a shank with one shot from Midnight while MIDA takes two. I often run out of ammo when using the MIDA. That never happened to me with the Midnight.
What gives? Shouldn't the higher attack power MIDA put out more damage?

Higher attack power means nothing since the game scales to your light level. A light level 300 does the same damage as a light level 200 when going into strikes.
