Faction armor drop chance?
Am I the only who feels like the chance for the faction armor to drop is exceedingly low???
I've opened 6 or 7 of these things now, and while I've received most of the weapons, whenever I get armor it's the shitty "additional rewards" gear that you could get anywhere else. I joined NM for the armor and shaders. I'm only getting one of those.
Edit: got the cloak at 12. Opened 10 more for the helmet and 3 chests.

I have opened about 35 for Dead Orbit. I've got the whole armor set, except for the cloak and I cant get it or the ghost shell to drop for nothing. The dang Hallowed Earth, or whatever it's called, dropped 4 times in a row. Was pissed.

Yeah, it's insane. I've opened well over 50, 60 of these effers by now. Only got the legs. Got the cape a decent amount of times. Like, 3. I'ver seriously passed 280 and gotten about 4 exotics in the meantime while farming these tedious faction tokens. It's nothing short of ridiculous.

If i still dont get it I'm deleting Destiny.

I got my Dead Orbit chest piece in my first package so I have noooo idea but you probably are just unlucky. Here's hoping for the best!

I got the gauntlets and boots yesterday hoping for the chest today. Am I the only one who hates the hunter raid set?

Edited by fangfireskull: 9/27/2017 12:34:24 PMSo far from my NM packages, I've gotten the shotgun, 2 smgs, the Titan mark and I think the scout rifle. The armor is probably just as rare as any other faction armor, and I'm probably never going to get the chestplate.

I've already gotten all the weapons, and all the armor twice, besides the Cloak from DO.

I'm getting a lot of weapons too. But I think that's how it is for all vendors. Trying to think back, I feel like I tend to get weapons from any reputation engram most of the time.

3 RepliesMy first package was the chest and some shaders. Feels good that New monarchy recognizes my years of loyalty. Still miss my exotic ass cloak though.

I've got the chest and helmet for New Monarchy, but the rest is always weapons or Titan marks. Drop rate feels reasonable to me considering how easy and quick it is to rank them up, but it is on the low side for people who don't have a lot of time to spend ranking them up.
