D2 Crashed 5 Times in A ROW trying to load to Tower Bungie Help
I have tried to load tower 5 times now and every single time it has crashed
And its not just now, this has been happening since launch but come on 5 times in a row
Please do something bungie

Same problem. Third time I crashed today. Second time my whole PS4 froze when I tried restarting destiny... I have the digital deluxe version btw.

It happened to me, too. I thought they would correct that with yesterday maintenance but I was wrong. Bungie, can you actually work on this, please? Because the other day it didn't only crashed my game, but my PS4 too, and I really don't appreciate that.

I think I found a solution for the fly-to-tower crashes on PS4(pro): After getting 3 consecutive crashes yesterday, I tried something different and removed stuff from my vault, until I had less than 175 items (incl. mods and shaders) in it. I used DIM to do this from orbit. No more crashes! Yeah!

Trash game, trash customer service. Encountered error codes many times since their last 2 patches. Horrible company.

It got worse with yesterday’s update for me. When loading into either tower or farm the game crashes most of the times.

I don't usually have problems but since faction rally, nothing but errors, (beatle, guitar, anteater), dc's, black screens and never ending load time to the tower. Standing here listeneing to Ikora as when I clicked on her to take a mission, my screen is now black for five minutes. Oh and people are reporting missing exotics now. 🤤

1 ReplyThis just happened to me 2 times in a row, closed down the game and got to the tower but I know people are experiencing this a lot more than I have. Bungie, it's clearly not on our end it's on YOUR end. Why hasn't something been done about this of people are reporting it happening 40+ times? Fix your -blam!-wad broken game.

New one this time. Got to the tower but couldn't access the character screen. Tried to go back to orbit. Then it crashed

2 RepliesI've been having the same issue but what I have found to fix it is staying out of my menu while flying to the tower. This is hard to do but I had this problem about 4 times in a row and on the 5th I stayed out of my menu and it loaded fine. Ive also had the infinite fly in problem, also after I was in my menu but exited it before getting to the tower. This might just be a fluke but try it and see if it works for you.

Im having the same problem and it seems that it’s getting worse day by day. 3 times in a row yesterday evening, now the 4th time in a row and counting.

This - and even if it doesn't crash it always takes multiple minutes to load me in. My fireteam mates load in, but I stay floating for freaking forever

Same. I'm on ps4. Either the game freezes when flying, black screen but can hear tower vendors talking or just full crash to error screen.

the game is unplayable... I cant complete story, public events, strikes, or crucible as I keep losing connection.

Same here on ps4 pro. It's a 50/50 chance of crash when flying into Traveller for me as well.
