Factions and How did you choose
Did anybody else pick their faction based upon the gun that they wanted and not upon literally anything else?
In Destiny 1 I was affiliated with the New Monarchy but I don't want to buy a shitte sidearm so Future War cult it is!

I chose Dead Orbit for my Titan, that black camo paint and the armor set looks pretty nice, plus the scout riffle seems an interresting one. My hunter is affiliated with New Monarchy, those shaders are pretty cool. When my Warlock will be ready he'll be FWC for shure

I was planning on going with Dead Orbit for the scout rifle, but New Monarchy swayed me with promises of looking cool.

Dead Orbit are cowards who say we need to leave the city. Yeah, lets ignore the main game. You had your chance. New Monarchy are authoritarians. FWC is more realistic about Destiny. War is a constant.

I choose new monarchy because I did in D1 for main and because they have the best goal. The guns are irrelevant if you plan an using full raid gear.

Edited by jefe: 9/26/2017 10:00:44 PMI've been Dead Orbit since I was first able to pick a faction in D1. I dig the hunter helmet, reminds me of the Brotherhood of Steel helmet. But other than that I think their armor is pretty meh. Went with New Monarchy this time around, with that Knight/ Iron Lord style armor with the Super clean red/white/gold shaders. If only I could get more armor to drop, I've only gotten the boots so far but I've gotten the scout rifle 3 times, the auto rifle twice, and some of the other random gear the pack can drop.

My warlock has always been new monarchy. I chose new monarchy back in year 1 because I agree in new monarchy's purpose.

Edited by SpartanJ416: 9/26/2017 9:53:35 PMI decided my characters will stick with the faction they affiliated with in D1: New Monarchy for the hunter, Dead Orbit for the warlock, and FWC for the titan. Ima get the weps and shaders anyways, and, thanks to reskins, armor isn't that big a deal.

I chose FWC for my titan because I like that titan armor set better than the other factions' sets.

I wanted to care about factions...but I don't. And why should I? Why should any of you for that matter. All we got is another coin vendor to buy crap 265's from. And the "quest"? Shoot static items in a part of the map we've already been to? Are you serious? What an uninspired and uninspiring sh** show.

I relate more to FTW, but sadly i need the aesthetic of NM. Maybe if the FWC warlock didn't look like complete garbage and had a decent bond.
