This move seems incomplete as compared to the other sub-moves from the other classes. The move has no noise effects and lacks some sort of way helping to track who your going to dive onto.
No matter how I try to setup an NPC, I keep just diving onto the floor and the NPC just moves out of the way. I could imagine using it in crucible.
Is this something that can be modified into being a little more useful.

You go straight down. No aiming required.

4 RepliesPhoenix dive is the best thing about dawnblade.

I like the perk, it's just a little slow to use very effectively. If the startup animation were a little faster it'd be good.

It is not supposed to get you kills its for safe descending and escaping crossfire

I like it in pve , but in pvp it sucks.

6 RepliesIt's damage isn't awesome, but you can sustain dawnblade for a while of you use the dive exclusively. It costs 0 super energy and kills refund 5% super energy. Its the only way to play dawnblade for pve. Just try and get use to it and you will do well

Do you mean a way to aim and direct it during descent? I think that would be fair, and a major improvement for a tricky ability. All of Phoenix Dive's animations need to be sped up too, takes too long and leaves you too vulnerable. On that same note, I think Striker Titan needs a similar way to aim their Fist in the air now that Death from Above is gone. They have a subclass perk that increases FoH damage the longer it's in the air, so being able to better aim it seems forthcoming.

Outside of the super it's just a healing move no damage is/can be done. Only with the super active will it do damage.
