Doing these 3 things would improve D2 PvP dramatically
Please Bungalow.
1. Lower the ttk, 0.6-0.8 seems to be a sweet spot.
2. Bring back 3s, rumble, 6s and D1 3v3 elimination, 4v4 is fine but not for everyone.
3. Stop matching solo players with pre-made teams, it's not fun and everyone ends up leaving anyway.
As a long time player I'm thoroughly unimpressed, I put thousands of hours into D1 PvP and loved every minute, with D2 I'm find myself turning the game off after 2 games because it's simply not fun camping and team shooting the entire game.

Amen spent alot of time in crucible in D1, can't get into crucible in D2. Whoever came up with 4 man teams was high. Bring back all the modes from D1, including D1 team counts. Crucible just isn't as fun now. I don't know if Iron Banner can win me over I D2, but I'm hoping so since was my fave in D1.

He absolutely hated the crucible in d1 because it was all about reflexes. He's actually enjoying crucible in d2 now because he doesn't get instagibbed by every try hard with a shotgun. All these people complaining about teamshotting just need to get a team. They don't put you into a 4v4 match so you can run around by yourself one shotting everyone for your montage.

7 RepliesUnpopular Opinion* I come from the Halo Scene where TTK is within the 1sec Range. i prefer a slightly higher TTK because it means that you need consistent aim to take out an opponent, not just a slight twitch to the left or right. it also gives the opponent time to escape, which in turn means you need better map control to be able to have the lines available to shut them down when they run. It's competitive because you need to be aware of more than just the guy infront of you. I also don't have an issue with TeamShooting, if your team is better organized than mine and has control of the power positions, and can hit me consistently from multiple angles you win. Period. I'm all for the game modes though, 6's were fun back in D1. And I also think the Matchmaking needs a rework, this was also an issue in Halo, matching solo queues against full teams is just unfair for the solo guys.

Well said I'm soooooo sick of PVP already and easily spent over 500 hours on D1 PVP. The super long TTK and boring ass team shooting is really lame and doesn't reward skill but rather promotes camping sight lines without much movement. It's horrible and I already dread going in :(

TTK is not the problem. Having on 4vs4 is the problem. The small maps only make it even worse.

You forgot 4. Remove the radar It's the biggest problem with PVP at the moment and the sole reason why teamshooting in a corner with the Mida is the meta.

I actually like the new ttk. What I want is ranked and in game stats for competitive, rumble abd a weekly rotating 6v6 mode. Now those additions would keep my attention.

Lowering the ttk would make them unintentionally quick because of team shooting.

lower ttk? Got killed by every weapon immediately...my weapons are not working like the opponent ones - 100 up/10 down, 15 ms, hardwired and only ps4 connected. Dedicated servers / thats all i want... -
.6 to .8? that is too short of a TTK. 2 to 2.5 would be better, COD is great and all, but this is not cod.

6 RepliesD1 ttk was good, people who dont want faster ttk you guys dont realise that slow ttk is the reason everybody is teamshooting. Every time I go into a 1v1 enemy always just runs away when I weaken him, he always has time to escape because ttk is pure shit

TTK is way too high with D2 my KD dropped from 1.56 to 0.97 - getting team shot all the time So I can choose, start team shot too or stop play PvP (what I actually do right now)

You can completely catch them out and they still get time to run away. I tried to play some quick play solo to get my call to arms done, lost 5 In a row and either played against fireteams of 3 or 4 every game. I left, turned it off and don't think I'll bother playing again unless I'm in a team.

Crucible is OK, I'm enjoying it. It would be nice to pick your game, instead of random, and bring back 6v6, but the pace seems pretty good, and the current game forces people to play as a team, instead of all rogue.

I'll counter that with one thing Take away any form of being able to talk about pvp. Can't talk about it means no complaining. No complaining means much less toxic forums and the game stays good

7 RepliesEdited by Marz74: 9/25/2017 10:42:02 AMabsolutely not agree with lower TTK , actually the only available strategy is to teamkill your opponents and you want to lower the TTk more that how it is ???? if you want to have a game like COD you should go buy it , bungie has totaly destroyed the game with this 4v4 , they tried to make it more competitive copying it from halo but it just doesn't work , the only thing they have been able to do with this 4v4 is to make the perfect game for campers there is also another thing that Bungie must change and it's the respawn for heavy ammo , they must bring back to how it was on D1 , this means , no heavy ammo befor at least 3 minutes since the match has started and then not less than other 3 minutes before you can get heavy ammo again
