Am I the only one who finds it hard to come across a purple or even blue kinetic mod, as someone who's been grinding this game since midnight launch with 3, 300+ characters I've yet to find a single kinetic mod. And yes I understand I can dismantle mods and use the components on Banshe-44 but even then I've spent countless amounts of glimmer and components to no avail. I've had friends who spent excessive amounts of money on silver and actually obtained a purple kinetic mod through bright Ingram's. I'm no fan of in-game currency or "pay to play" mechanics I hope bunged can make it more accessible for people to obtain kinetic mods in the near future. But as of now, the grind is real.

Edited by greyhound87: 9/25/2017 12:28:33 PMNever seen a kinetic one. I thought they didn't even exist. Same problem with leg mods. Never get them without buying them and they always end up solar.

Edited by Apollo_XIX: 9/25/2017 11:21:15 AMStep 1: Reach 280 Power Step 2: Buy random blue mods from Banshee Step 3: Convert sets of threes of bought blue mods into legendary mods at Banshee Step 4: Dismantle unwanted Legendary mods to get mod components Step 5: Turn those mod components into a random legendary weapon mod at Banshee and hope it's a Kinetic That is the process, no idea why you'd buy bright engrams in an attempt to get Kinetic mods, also no such thing as a blue Kinetic mod

max 100K glimmer and buy blue mods for 2500 , eventually you get 3 blue kinetic mods you can convert to purple

3 RepliesEdited by Slevi: 9/25/2017 10:57:07 AMHonestly, your friends are pretty dumb for spending silver and hoping for a damage kinetic mod. Eververse is not even the girl you go to for mods. Banshee is the best guy for getting mods from. Not much you can do but break down purple mods, and play Banshee's weapon mod slot machine. Im sitting on like 5 kinetic mods now from just breaking down purple mods.

2 RepliesI don't get it. Glimmer is so easy to get in that game. Spend a bunch on mods. Turn them into legendaries, dismantle them. You may not get one first try but it really isn't hard. I've got like 50 legendary mods I don't use and I don't play half as much as a lot of people.

3 RepliesI've never seen one drop. Only time I see them are if they are already on the gun when it drops. Usually it's on an exotic.
