This translates to me, they don't need blink. Evade does nothing, I refuse to call it "dodge" or "evade", it does neither. I might as well not have a class ability. Useless in pvp, and I'm more evasive jumping in the air in pve.
-
Shoulder charge is useless so stop crying.
-
I'm not sure where shoulder charge came from in this conversation, and I'm not sure how this is crying. You said you muted me last time. You're probably best off doing that because I'm just going to roast you again. And then you'll probably lie about it like you did last time. Piss off loser
-
The way evade plays with hunters other abilities is pretty cool though. It helps fit the theme of an agile, gunslinger hunter
-
I will say, the idea itself was great, but horribly made. I get that there's some perks that make it a little better, but even then, it's hardly as helpful as the other 2 abilities.
-
Yeah it's definitely not as useful as the shield and rift, even if it fits the theme of a lone-wolf hunter. Hunters may need rely entirely on tethers to contribute to the group this time around
-
evade is garbage in my eyes :(
-
I think it's pretty cool, it reminds me of the evade ability in Halo Reach. The fact that it can give ability energy or reload your gun is just icing on the cake
-
XB1 or PS4?
-
Waiting for the PC release, but I used to be on ps4
-
i get what you mean, but it doesnt reach the set standard it did in D1 for me, not being able to use it more often than its more powerful counterparts make it seem unlikely ill make a hunter soon. I loved Reach too ;) Swat God!
-
Id rather have triple jump over blink anyway.
-
Blink no evade yes they do, the entire point of the hunter class is they're the agile/stealth class, i'e rogue that's what attracted me, too the class in the first place.
-
I meant they don't need both blink and evade. I guess I wasn't clear enough, I'll edit it to make more sense
-
Warlocks don't need a glide and evade and heal field...
-
Warlocks don't need a glide and evade and heal field...
"Warlocks don't need their basic abilities plus what one specific subclass offers them" Wat
-
To be fair that is what people are saying to hunters when they are asking for blink. They are saying hunters don't need blink and a basic ability.
-
But the example given was glide (arguably the worst jump in the game) evade (locked to a specific tree and a specific subclass) and rift (the standard warlock ability)
But the example given was glide (arguably the worst jump in the game) evade (locked to a specific tree and a specific subclass) and rift (the standard warlock ability)
You do know evade is not the same as Destiny 1? All hunters have access to it, and it is what hunters use instead of the rift or shield of titans. Hunters evade is also a lot slower then shadestep , and no where near as effective an shadestep. I use it more for refilling smokebomb or my gun then to evade. As far as glide, I can see it being the worst in PvP, but I would take it over everything but triple jump in love.
-
Maybe it should be brought up to shade step standards then
-
Yeah sorry, it was my fault for misinterpreting what you said.

Well don't worry, i'm a dude I don't identify as a door or a squeaky dog toy, or what ever people do these days.

Ah well, that's fair enough, I never really was that keen on blink anyway.
