I've heard alot about a game called "Shadowrun" and I've tried googling it but (I have wikipedia on another tab) I just don't understand the game. Could anyone give me someinsight to the game?

No one is willing to admitt the only reason they bought/played the game was because after the Halo 3 Beta ended, there was a message that said "go try the Shadowrun demo" when you tried going into the beta. Game was fun for the first few months it was out, then it died and got old. Its a lot like counter strike. You get money at the start of each round and you buy magic ability, technology upgrades, and weapons. The goal is to kill the other team, or escape with the artifact (varies depending on the game mode). The whole game is a multiplayer with no story mode.

Aw -blam-. I think I'm 2 years late@ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shadowrun_(2007_video_game) Read the bodom of "reception" (above "sales") I think I many be 2+ years late for this game.... I wonder if they still sell it...

imo the background of the game would have been better suited to an RPG or MMORPG, but it's by no means a bad game. I think a story mode would have improved it, though.

A game the PC gamers dominated the 360 ones in.
Posted by: Crusader828 Its actually pretty good, Sage used to work for the company that made Shadowrun before he started working for Bungie
Cool, I'm intrested in getting it (for the PC) but I just can't find very much info on that.

The gameplay is almost exactly like counter strike (botmatches/multiplayer only, no respawning), but with extra features, including the magic and tech abilities.

Ok, thanks. That awnseres most of my questions.

you choose your class from a few different options, they all have pros and cons like speed, size, magic power, health, and amount of money. At the start of every round/game you buy your starting weapons and build upon your magic skills using in game money you were rewarded with for how well you did in your past round. its an fps and is filled with your normal slayer and objective gametypes

It is a game about a artifact that has a lot of magical power. The one side is trying to harness this power and the other side is trying to free it. It was a good game that has magic, and gun abilities. Has guns in it. I is a FPS and the only time you go in to 3PV is when you hold a katana in your hands. The characters you could pick from are elfs, dwarfs, humans, trolls, and orcs. [Edited on 08.02.2010 11:32 PM PDT]

I only played it for about one day and got tired of it. The person who brought it over was some guy named Johnathen who skipped out on a party or something for a card tournament. About all I got from it was sniping the head off of some large hulking "troll" to the words of headshot!

Cool.

Some mess about bridge trolls with guns, elves with katanas and magical abilitis all in one game.
