I'm gonna write out the pros and cons I can think of for each side: Hyperion:
+ Durable and variable robotic infantry + Artillery and sentry guns + Constructors can digistruct reinforcements onto the field + Personal shields are normal + Can repair and/or heal units on the field + Snipers and rocket infantry - Primarily anti-infantry - Hyperion-line weapons have gotten worse since Handsome Jack took over - Units can drop more than just their guns on death.
IMC:
+ Pilots + Mercenary support + Titans + Anti-titan weaponry + Phase tech + Cloak Drones + "Nukes" - Weak human infantry - Weak Spectres - Pilots can be kinda squishy too - No shields for things smaller than titans - Most weapons used by the IMC are basic in comparison to Borderlands weaponry
I expect users to correct and revise this list as time goes on, but from these initial thoughts, the conclusion I can draw is this:
The IMC's best chance at winning this conflict is to have a strong enough initial offensive to allow them both a foothold in Hyperion lines and access to Borderlands-level technology through salvaging the enemy's remains.
i dont know about hyperion. but i do know that that if hyperion were on the IMC's territory, that the IMC could revoke all the things they have and send in multiple fleets by force
